Get the Lisle version. This brand has a smaller blade. Shorter handle that comes out too easily. The blade is also not replaceable.The only nice thing about this one is the blade is angled on both sides so less chance digging into the aluminum flange.

I ordered as soon as I saw this nifty little tool. It is robust enough to tap with a hammer, will not go deep enough to catch or damage trans valve body or oil pick-up tube. Works well for cutting the silicone gasket maker type sealant or separating baked on pans/gaskets with bending or gauging like a screwdriver or chisel.I love this little gadget.

I’ve been wanting one of these tools for awhile since watching a YouTube use it I just never seemed to remember to look for it till now - it’s a simple tool but definitely an effective tool and helpful tool - my one complaint is I won’t lie I overlooked that it is welded and you can never replace the blade part of the scraper I wish it was a replaceable part as I know at some point it will just be a throw away tool once it gets damaged - but a good tool to keep handy

This is a nice little tool to have, much better than using a putty knife or a screwdriver. Works well. And made the ease of removal so nice.

The good news is, this tool is awesome. The less good news is that if you need to use it, you probably have a failed RTV or other seal and your vehicle is leaking oil. You have our sympathies! Great find!

I was able to remove an oil pan without damaging the block or pan, good value for the money.
