NECESSARY FUEL OIL INJECTION PRESSURE TESTER TOOL
- Testing fuel pressure is an essential part of the troubleshooting process of fuel injection system. Proper fuel pressure is vital for engine operation and performance.
- Too high fuel pressure can cause the engine to run too rich, incomplete combustion, excessive fuel consumption, increased carbon buildup, exhaust exceeding the standard.
- And a low fuel pressure will lead to a lack of horsepower, stalling, and a slow or no-start condition.
EASY TO OPERATE
1. Disassemble the oil pressure sensor first, then screw on the oil pressure gauge
2. Start the vehicle to operate it at a specified speed, the reading in the pressure gauge is the oil pressure of lubrication system
DIAGNOSTIC RESULT
Please refer to equipment manufacturer's operation instruction and compare to the manufacturer's recommended readings, to check if the reading is out of the normal range. And check if the dashboard light works well or not.
Below the minimum oil pressure: blocking oil strainer or oil filter, broken pressure-limiting valve spring , poorly working oil pump, low oil viscosity
Above the maximum oil pressure: high oil viscosity, blocking lubrication oil channel, blocking oil filter core and by-pass valve is difficult to open.

I had an aftermarket mechanical gauge in my C10 that wouldn't read anything after the truck warmed up. I bought this to verify the issue and even though the truck does lose pressure as it warms up this guage showed that the truck still had 25psi at idle when warm - within tolerance for a small block chevy. I then bought a new dash gauge.

If I were a professional mechanic, I might get something more high tech. But I am just a shade tree "fixer" so I got this one. Worked like a charm on my Honda 15 HP. This helped my diagnose the issue and get this thing purring!

gave it four stars instead of five for 'easy to use'. Due to the long hose being difficult to attach/thread to the confined space where the oil pressure sender was at. Took an extra few minutes to get on. I suppose an extra threaded union would help, but then this kit wouldn't be so affordable would it? Otherwise this is an ideal quick check gauge. Five Stars everywhere else.

Bought this set to do a compression test on a common marine outboard engine. Set does not include adaptor for the spark plug thread size. Ended up being a waste of money as the test could not be performed. An adaptor for the routine / common spark plug sizes should be with the set.

Worked as advertised. Very easy to use and accurate. My car does not have a oil pressure gauge and this helped me rule out if I needed new rings!

I just installed a rebuilt engine in a 2008 Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep does not have an oil pressure gauge only an idiot light. I wanted to make sure there was proper oil pressure when starting the engine for the first time. With the help of a tee fitting I was able to connect this gauge and verify proper oil pressure. The gauge worked well. My only complaint is the 1/8' NPT fitting on the end of the hose was slightly undersized It worked and didn't leak with the liberal use of thread sealant.

The brass fitting didn't fit, so was kinda useless
