Receptions at my wife's church means that we make a large number of deviled eggs. After trying numerous egg cutters, this one stands out. It is designed task specific to just cut eggs in half, and it is excellent in performing that task. It is well made, and recommended.

Handy little thing for slicing hardboiled eggs in half without butchering it with a knife. The wire glides through the egg cleanly, with little to no resistance. Made in Japan and is good quality. Fits in the palm of your hand.

First saw it used on a cooking show. The chef was halving soy sauce pickled eggs. Gone are the days of uneven halved eggs. Love it.
