Your pond still looks beautiful with the tent over it. It adds extra protection. It does not harm fish or plants.

Feel down with small amount of snow. Poles unstable. Difficult to put up. Keeps coming apart.

Super easy to setup and install, just slide the poles through the sleeves and lock them in place. Our pond is irregularly shaped so it doesn't sit perfectly, nor does it provide 100% coverage, but that is not the net's fault. What area it did cover has tremendously cut down on the amount of leaves and debris that would normally make its way into the pond and muck up everything. Well worth the price and I'm sure it will provide years of use with proper care and storage.

The Okayes Pond cover arrived in easy packaging and a test set up was easy peasy. The pond cover is just that - and does well at covering an area of ground that soon will indeed have a pond. The mesh quality is excellent, and fine enough to have kept leaves and other debris off the chosen ground readily. A quick test with Harvey the Attack Turtle kept him inside and presumably predators outside, exactly as desired. The netting is high quality, set up easy, and the whole thing looks to be quite durable. I expect years of use from this article and as such it delivers great value for money.Rating : 5 stars! Buy this product, as we will be doing so again for ourselves or as gifts. 4: A good solid product with few flaws offering good to excellent value for money. 3: The most common rating, a good product at a decent price, perhaps flawed a bit, perhaps with difficult packaging or micro-print instructions. 2: Bottom shelf, would buy this at some fraction of cost for a limited use, disappointing performance, would not donate to charity 1: We are shocked this product is offered for sale. It is either dangerous, represents deceitful labeling or packaging, is shockingly boring or inaccurate as a read, worthy of removal from the marketDisclaimer: This review is part of the Amazon Vines Program in which reduced cost product is provided in exchange for forthright reviews. I've had my eye on one of these nets since I first installed my pond, but I never actually picked one up, until now. We always used bird netting that was stretched out across the pond, held down by rocks, which always required cleaning off several times in the Fall. My frustration came to a boiling point when a snake was caught in the netting a few weeks ago and I had to get it free. I hate snakes more than anything in the world, but it was a good one, so I had to get over my fear, as well as fend off a few strikes to get it free. When I saw this net was available and it was large enough to cover the opening, I was ecstatic.Putting it together is relatively simple and I did it by myself. The poles are quite long but once you get them through the sleeves, they lock in and provide enough strength to handle leaves, both wet and dry. I messed up on the installation as far as the proper side, but it still works, I just have to reach under to get the zipper loose. The only issue I had was my own design flaw with the location of the waterfall, but that's getting torn down anyways, so the gaps will be filled. The bottom contains a small skirt that can have rocks or other items placed on top to close the gaps and it comes with stakes and rope to further tie it down in case of wind.Ultimately, it's a fantastic product and I'm extremely happy with it and excited to see how it handles this winter. I believe it'll save me several hours of maintenance all for 15 minutes of setup time.

The pond net keeps my outdoor pond covered so none of the leaves and grass clippings get into the pond, it also keeps mosquitos from breeding in the water and keeps my fish safe from predators.
