I'm a woman in my 70's and I've waited four months for service from Ashley Furniture for the Party Time Recliner Recall that causes fires! After watching You Tube videos I decided to fix it myself. My chair would not recline in addition to the recall for the cupholder issue. I bought this switch and a new power source - voila! $44 for both and fixed! you can do it. Only help needed was to flip the loveseat over as it's very heavy. its basically plug and play! I disconnected the cup holder lights - don't need blue running lights anyway. Only caveat - I put this switch backwards from the original position I used for the past two years... and now it takes me a minute to remember which button does what! So be mindful if this would be a problem for you. LOL.

We needed to replace 2 recliner controls, one on a couch and one on a loveseat. Not real complicated and the replacements are working Ok. I suggest having 2 people due to the moving and tipping of the furniture. Tied new power switch cord to old cord to make fishing new switch cable thru the furniture easier.
