When I bought this, there were no reviews stating whether these flex racks fit the Highland model from Oklahoma Joe's. I have the newer model with the brackets already installed when I bought it and they just slide right in! Very easy to use and provide much more cooking room. I bought the two pack and the single pack and they all fit perfectly!

Like this better than the plates with the holes because you can adjust the grid with some pliers to get different sized rows. I recommend using a trick I saw on youtube where the hole opening was big enough to fit the jalapeno wrapped in bacon to go 1/2 way down the opening and sit on a toothpick that you stick through horizontally. If the hole is to small, and only the tip sits in, the popper will fall over and spill the cheese. If its too big, the jalapeno will slip through as it cooks. So, use the toothpick for good results. I think the ideal size opening is 1 1/8" or 1 1/4" depending on the size of the jalapenos you get and pass the toothpick through the middle so the don't slip down. Good luck.

I love these rib racks. I bought them so I could use the space more efficiently, but there is something about how the smoke goes around the meat when verticle vs horizontal and I get amazing smoke penetration and juicy moist meat.

I smoked 5 racks of spare ribs and using these made it so much easier! I did learn that using two side by side works better than trying to use one, as the ribs start to sag and I can't spritz the apple juice between them. Now, out of the five racks of ribs and the pork butt that my son in law smoked, there was plenty of pulled pork left over, but I was told that the ribs were great, but they were gone before I got there. I plan on getting two or four more to smoke more ribs, so that, just maybe, I will get to taste them next time! They looked like the best ribs I have ever smoked, but I cannot personally vouch for the flavor.

OK, I'd prefer the stainless steel rather than nickel plating but hey - you can't have everything. These are easily put in and pulled out, so taking care of them should not be a problem. Updated OJ Highlander (rubber wheels) has fittings for them already welded in. Nice snug fit. Three units can be fitted to make a second cooking shelf. We like it :o)

Bought this grilling rack because one of the reviews mentioned it fit on the Big Buddy heater but can’t seem to figure out how without having to modify it.Just received it today and noticed one of the brackets is bent. I can have someone straighten it out but even with it being straightened out, I don’t understand how this grill can attach anywhere to the Big Buddy heater. Anybody with feedback would be appreciated.
