Used it once for Thanksgiving 2023. Worked OK the first time other than taking about 40-50 pumps to prime it. This year (2024) the injector would not allow the cylinder to move once the chamber was filled with liquid. Repaired max strength with both hands to compress it. Suspect the check valve in it went bad. Plastic parts it theads into also cracked.

Biggest piece of junk I have ever wasted money on. I have always used the free injectors that came with creole butter and decided I would step up and buy a nice injector. Well that was a mistake. This thing has not worked right a single time. If it gets the smallest piece of spice through the hose it locks up. It will not create suction from that point forward. You can stand there with salmonella all over your hands and take it apart. Beat it on the sink. Cuss it. Fight with your spouse and it will start back to working for about 3 pumps. Then you have to repeat the process. Talk about ruining your thanksgiving turkey. 28 people depend on me and Oklahoma Joe to give them a good product and I had to go back and find a baby medicine syringe and Jerry rig a needle to it to get this thunderchicken on the grill. Do not buy this. I would rather use a chick-Fil-a coffee stirrer and spit the liquid into the bird before I use this junk again. I threw it in the trash and don’t even want a refund. Stupidity should cost you something and it’s going to cost me whatever I payed for this junk. I hope whoever the design team was gets fired and never try’s to design a poultry injector again.

I have a smoker and cook turkeys, chickens and pigs. I use 16 to 32 ounces it is great to use instead of one of those little injectors. Hard to clean as expected do to the suction line. I get a bowl use hot water and dish soap. Pump it through and let it sit for a while then use clean water a few times. When you go to use it put oil on the O ring makes it last longer and works better

Kinda hard to squeeze....but deal with it.A small plastic piece brole in the tip, where the needle goes, but it still works well.I like it

I should start by saying that generally speaking I like Oklahoma Joe's products. They are decent products for average people. They are not professional grade products, but they are also not trash. I was very disappointed by this injector.I've been grilling for years and I have been injecting some of the things that I cook for at least 10 years. Anyone who makes an injection or a marinade nose that it's not purely liquid. My injections have salt, pepper, and various other spices. When I used this injector though everything was mixed and stirred well it got clogged repeatedly. This injector does a poor job of passing any particulate even something as small as salt crystals and cracked black pepper.Historically I have used a syringe style injector with great success. I hoped that this would be a easier alternative.If all you attend on injecting is liquid then this is a great option as you can do repeated pumps with just one hand period if your injection uses any silence, any particulates, look elsewhere.

El sistema trabaja perfecto y es muy bueno pero el gatillo es de muy mala calidad no se si el mÃo llego defectuoso pero parece que se va a romper en el primer uso. Lo regrese

Broke after one use. Very cheap plastic components, flimsy mechanism and poor design.
