I'm updating my review because the company reached out to me and sent a replacement adapter - but there is a surprise ending. Important to note that I didn't ask for the replacement, nor was I asked to amend my review. This was proactive customer service. The irony is that having plugged in the second adapter, the camera still gave a 'no power' code. Bottom line is the camera software is faulty. I did some internet research and found this is a common problem. So thank you to OLAIKE for taking care of a customer.[Original review follows] First to be fair, I'm not positive my issue is from this product. My camera worked great and showed it was running on AC power for about a week after I connected it. Then it said it was no longer getting power. I double checked all connections, confirmed that my outlet was powered,brought my outdoor camera inside and re ran the power adapter from a different circuit- but still no power to the camera. So 3 options, it's either the transformer, the cable or the camera. The camera is new so seems least likely, but without buying a new cable and adapter (or testing with a voltage meter which i don't own) I have no easy way to know where the problem lies.

The product works as intended the downside is that the device doesn't recognize it as being plugged in. There was an error message that the it was not plugged in and needed a battery even though there was a battery installed as back up power. But once the device was switched to battery the device recognized it as a solar device and it has been working with no issues for a week now.

Bought this for the length of the cable, but was happily surprised by the cable management notches. They made a big difference! Cable quality is great, and charges the device good.

Easy to use long enough for.most camera placement. The ring camera stays charged, no problems just plug into back of the Ring camera then plug into the nearest electrical plug. The cable seems heavy enough to handle the rain, heat, and cold. The only drawback is due to the Ring barrel plug and the USB plug if tour going through a structure the hole needs to be big enough to fish the cable. You still need to have a battery in the camera this is a non OEM cable.its a good buy.

I’ve read other reviews and what they’ve done to get it to work correctly, I’ve tried them and it’s still not working. I’ve already drilled holes in my walls ( and my outside wall is stucco so a little hole always gets bigger) and secured the cable to the house so now to pull everything out would make a bigger problem.It’s very unfortunate because the quality of this product is very good,looks like it will last a long time even in the Arizona desert heat.Maybe it’s because I have the 26ft cable and it needs a more powerful plug.

It came with the US parallel pin power plug, so an adaptor would be required for Australian or AU power points. Other than that it worked just fine.

This works well to power my Spotlight Cam Battery (the 1st gen), the app shows this as a solar device, it does not matter, because it works to charge the battery.

Battery stick-up-cam was being used in a very busy area and the battery life was quite short, I’ve purchased this to eliminate the need to charge the battery frequently. Great length (for my needs) and comes with usb plug in the box. It simply works !
