About this item

  • Great looking camo finish
  • Accommodates up to 15 rods and combos
  • Easy, tool-free assembly
  • Molded clip strap prevents clips from pulling out
  • Metal center pole is sturdy and will not warp

This elegant round rack from Old Cedar Outfitters features a variety of significant upgrades from other knockoff brands. The steel center pole, is more secure, and will not warp or strip out. The clips are molded to a solid band, which will not pull out from the upper rack. The tooled rubber feet are stable, and will not swell if wet. The rack is easy to assemble and requires no tools. The base plate screws directly to the center pole which screws into the top rack. This rack comes in one of three finishes: Camo, Oak and Carbon Fiber Mesh.

Read the reviews, but bought the camo version anyway. People complained about crooked connections, weak rod holders and it tips over. Well this is what I encountered. I assembled the bottom post to the base and tightened. IT WAS crooked, so I slowly bent it straight and was able to tighten further and it was now straight. It happened with the mid-section too and did the same thing again. I believe that the inner core with the screw and/or nut that's pressed inside the posts are uneven during manufacturing, but can be adjusted the way I wrote. The rod rings are good as long as you DON'T force spread them wide. They do not regain their original shape. I pulled one off and soaked in HOT water, squeezed it together and ran cold water on it. It now stays closed as intended. Lastly, tipping over did NOT happen to me. I put 10 rods on the stand (8 with reels). I would NOT put saltwater gear on this as they are much heavier than freshwater. Stand takes up small footprint and looks good. Save money and but the camo, you can always put shelf-paper over it to match your decor...

This is a great little fishing pole stand, where you could store a variety of your fishing poles,. nice and sturdy! It does not take up a lot of space!

Good price, good capacity, nice that it is floor level and provides max space for vertical rods - don't like the rod retainers in the top tier - they are plastic, have to be manually opened and closed, appear to be susceptible to breaking off, etc - would have preferred simple cushioned push in supports that hold the upper rod in place...

I use this product for my fishing poles. It will not hold 15 of my fishing poles, if I leave the reels on them. I like this product because it does the job- it holds rods in a organized manner. However, I was a little disappointed. The wood is a laminate, I should have done a little more research. On the laminate that goes around the edge of the bottomdisk did not match up and it overlapped with glue visible. The black pole in the middle is made of metal. The knob on top was wood, I believe. The knob was painted black, you could see light brown as some spots were not painted. The rubber clamps that hold the poles on the top disk are rather flimsy, although they do hold them in place. I could see them falling out with little force. It also is a bit hard to line up the clamps with the circles where the butt of the pole goes, it tends to move back and forth. Overall, it works. It is cheap, so expect a cheaply made product. It is not like those you might find at a store such as Turner's or Bass Pro Shops. I would buy it again though. I don't need anything fancy.

This fly/fishing rod holder is perfect for holding my golf clubs when using my simulator. It is very sturdy and simple to assemble. For golf clubs you will have to trim the fly rod holders a bit depending on your shafts. I could not be happier. Been looking for a golf club rack for some time and most are very expensive. You can see I have two different sizes. My friends love this idea.... so do I!

I purchased this item for my husbands birthday on sale at $25.86 with free shipping fulfilled by Amazon.com. I was feeling pretty good about my purchase and was super excited to surprise my husband with a stand displaying his rods. I went to put the rack together and at first glance noticed something was off. First off this item was not the same as the item pictured. The item I received was not all wood as pictured but had a cheap black metal pole that held the two circular pieces together. As I continued to put the item together I noticed the two rods were attaching crooked. Then when I attempted to attach the pole to the base I found that the metal piece that is inserted into the wooden base was broken. To top it off the item is advertised as a stand that holds 16 rods but only has 15 spots. Even if this thing would not have been broken I am confident based on the quality of the craftsmanship it would be a cheap wobbly piece of garbage.I tried to get a replacement however because I bought the item on sale it was not available. The new item sold through Organized Fishing was now $36.99 plus $9.99 in shipping. I placed a new order threw Organized fishing hoping that the new item might actually be as pictured and as advertized but after reading the other reviews posted decided to cancel my order. Plus I found a rack sold at Academy.com that looks to be better quality, has better reviews and is less expensive ($19.99). It only holds 10 rods but hey this rack doesn't even hold as many as it advertises anyway! Academy also sells one that holds 24 rods and is $59.99 with free shipping, which is only about $13 more than this one with shipping included. I would not recommend this item as there are far better options available to anglers!*Item not as pictured...actually black cheap metal rod*Only holds 15 rods not 16*Item poor quality and cheap craftmanship *Broken out of box*Amazon.com provided unhelpful customer resolution

Holds fishing rods well. Clips are a little flimsy but it still holds everything well. Well priced. Easy to put together. Now I just gotta buy more rods to put into the stand :)

Easy assembly and looks good, holds up to 15 bare rods as described, fewer if reels left on. Rod collection is now better protected and displayed nicely.
