If you enjoy cardinals you will love this beautiful and delicate ornament! Very nice details and looks authentic for a glass ornament. Good value and quality. A good size, not too big. We did not have a tree this year, but enjoyed it nonetheless.

The ornaments are absolutely incredible. Always. The most beautiful ones. But if you are hunting the after-Christmas sale here on Amazon, realize that these MIGHT be the returns from before Christmas. I have ordered quite a few these past years and they always came carefully wrapped and in individual boxes with the brand name, ornament name... These past 2 weeks I noticed prices down on some of my wishes and ordered some like presents for next Christmas. Everyone always admires these on our tree. As they trickle in being delivered, I noticed a trend. Wrong ornaments sent... Some I kept as I liked them for the price, some I am returning. Today, I finally received a beautiful red cardinal, just as I had ordered. It is in perfect condition but... No box. It was put in a bigger box bottom, not covered with a box top, wrapped in some bubble wrap. While it is a beautiful ornament, I will have to find it a box to gift and store it in. I am keeping the ornament, giving a 5-star review but if you are shopping the sales, be aware that this might happen. I would expect that a "new" item would include the original box.

I bought this for my Hawaiian Christmas tree. It is a beautiful ornament, exactly what I expect from Old World Christmas. The ornament is fragile & was packaged well. It arrived unscathed by the shipping journey. I love it!

I purchased two of this style bird. Very heavy in weight. Colors are beautifully done. They sparkle really well. The jaws on one of the clips doesn't meet and doesn't close tight. I have a 3' feather type tinsel tree, so the branches are thin. I used a bit of tissue paper and pretty ribbon to tie them on. If you have a large tree with thick branches you won't have a problem clipping them on. Even though one of mine the clip is broken, and they are too heavy for my delicate tree, I'm not returning because it was easy to tie them on with ribbon to safely secure them. Check each style bird weight for your tree. This company makes many clip on birds and they all weigh differently. A larger bird I bought was actually lighter in weight.
