This has a fail proof quick change mechanism that let's you replace your blade without any room for error. And it being a Ofla product one should get hours of accurate cutting. There's nothing better than an Ofla rotary cutter.

I’ve used another name brand but just didn’t fit the bill ! I’ve been trying to cut quilt blocks. This cutter is so comfortable in my hand, love the safety button and the quick change button all works great ! I’m glad I changed to this brand !

Love these Olfa rotary cutters. So easy to use and super sharp. This is my second one and it's a no-fail product. I have a very pretty light blue one but it's in storage since we are in the process of building.

Overall I like the OLFA 45mm rotary cutter. It is sharp and easy to hold. Appears to be easy to switch blades.I am spoiled by a Fiskers 9mm rotary cutter that has a push button safety that pops the blade into the guard. On this one you push the slide to expose the blade and then pull it to retract the blade. I frequently forget to pull the blade back into safety guard.I bought this to replace the 9mm rotary cutter that I loved because you can only buy 9mm blades on-line at a premium price.

Update.. Very happy now! They sent me an unopened/new one and it works AMAZINGLY!! Highly recommend!So this was exactly how I received this today. Clearly opened and taped closed. I am very unhappy with the way this came. I did an exchange, so if it comes new and unopened I will rate it better. I will update review 😡🤞🤞
