Love the ease of cutting fabric with the Olfa Pinking Rotary Blade. I have been making American Girl doll clothes and this rotary blade has made it so easy to pink the clothing seams and is great for pinking long sashes. So glad that I purchased this item! I placed the blade on a Fisker‘s rotary blade handle, and it worked perfectly!

I had to make several dozen Christmas decorations for my school bus kids and cutting them with pinking shears wasn't an option for my hands. I had one of these already on hand but, I ordered 2 more because I didn't know how much life my other had left in it. Anyway I sent the old one with my neighbor who was making the same craft for her school bus kiddos and when these were delivered I started using them. I cut a few hundred 8" x 1/2" strips of fabric and no signs of dullness yet.

I guess I was one of the lucky ones who received the legit yellow package. I am sorry to those who didn't, maybe it depends on the shipper, prime? I have a straight OLFA that I loved but with the material I was using I needed pinking shears so I saw this new blade for the OLFA, but then found I needed a the special holder. Saw the reviews of people receiving the legit and none legit ones. The price seemed to good to be true but I had to take a chance, IT Wasn't. thank goodness. This was so worth the price and they work sooo wonderful. The pinking shears do take some time to get used to especially if using against a ruler. I definitely recommend taking the chance. I loved my original OLFA that's why I had to take the chance. I am a loyal OLFA user. The ease that it took going through 4 layers of flannel was amazing. Definitely take the risk. Good luck.

Pros: this brand is great, and blades last a long time. It truly prevents fraying on fabrics. Love it. It is especially great for cutting fabrics for lots of things. It perfectly does what it is designed to do, give pinked edges on fabric to prevent fraying.Cons, speaking as a QUILTER: I need precise 1/4†seams. With pinked edges on fabric it is harder to get 1/4†precision seams because you can’t really shove the pinked edges against your 1/4†foot on your machine (the kind of foot with the vertical stop edge). So there is a tradeoff. Not the fault of the pinked rotary blade tho! Just know it is more challenging for narrow seams. On the upside, you can trim your seams with this after sewing! I have done that.

J'ai acheté cette lame pour mon cutter rotatif pour gagner du temps (à la place d'utiliser un ciseau cranteur). Permets de couper d'une traite deux ou 3 épaisseurs de coton popeline. Il faudra voir à l'usure. Mais rien que le gain de temps vaut le prix !

Great quality cutting blade, cuts smoothly and is very sharp - cut through 4 layers of cotton fabric and 2 layers of fleece with minimal effort. A pack of 2 would make the purchase even better.
