Great value for the price, even exceeded my expectations on how the product would deliver.At first I was hesitant since I’ve only ever used spring loaded collars but seeing that my gym recently started providing spring collars I prefer to use my own equipment so I decided to give these a shot. They’re great! Stand out, thick rubber coating on the inside makes for a snug fit around the bar.

Bought V1-2 years ago after doing my research Iron Bull had the best rating I have been using them everyday since I got them and they are still working well. After buying some more equipment I need more collars so I went back to Iron Bull only to find out they made a new version. After receiving the new ones I could tell Iron Bull upped their game. They are heavier duty, plastic used is thicker, the design with the screws and shape seem to really help it hold the bar better as well. The locker is nicer as well, so when you clamp it they really feel secure. The overall feel is heavier and stronger.

Like most people, I was getting tired of what was (or wasn't at my gym), so I purchased these. They completely meet my needs. I don't powerlift and I don't drop or bang weights - so I've not experienced them cracking or falling apart.As for the "child lock" feature...well, the wire clips are hard to press open far enough to slide collars on the bar easily...presumably making it difficult for them to fall off - which is the precise reason these have the feature so many don't like. I never have to press that black button. I just flip the red tab and the clip is ready to be removed. That said, they can be a little tough to remove - I supposed as they're used more it'll get easierAnyway, they're not outrageously priced so even if you experiment with them and hate them, it's a $15 experiment. If you love them, then your satisfaction will last for quite some time.
