I wish I had taken these up to my sherwin williams shop to shake them before opening. I had to sacrifice a kitchen spatula to get all the catalyst out. I've worked with epoxy before, and I made the assumption that the brush/roller strokes would level out on their own.. they do not. but, it's not that bad to be honest. I would have just gone over it with a smooth epoxy roller again if I had known. Otherwise, I wouldn't ever use anything else on a plaster over gunnite in-ground pool.FYI - I had acid washed my spa and it made the plaster super rough and uncomfortable to sit on. So, I'm just re-coating the seat.

I have a 24k gallon free form lap pool with fiberglass walls and concrete bottom. Used 6 gals of Gunzite primer after weeks of grinding/sanding/repairs with Leslie Patch-It. I used 3 gal of Olypic Zeron Blue Ice on the walls (2 Coats) and 6 gals of Zeron White on the floor (2 Coats). I have used Dura Seal in the past but found this product to be superior. Hope to get the 8yrs out of it as described. The succes is all in the prep work and the cooperation of the weather gods. Very satisfied with results. It thickens quickly. Do not recommend mixing more then 1 gal at a time unless you have multiple painters. I did it all solo and it took awhile.

This is the base, it worked really well and we did 2 coats. Dont over calculate since these can not be retrurned but looks great and 2 months in, hot weather and all still looks good.

Used as a base for their Zeron epoxy paint and it worked great. Just follow the instructions and everything will work perfectly. I did do two coats because my pool soaked up the first.
