I purchased this accessory to help optimize image quality for my OMAX phase contrast scope. Once you go through the alignment procedure it becomes second nature and it does,indeed, improve image definition. OMAX got it to me several days ahead of schedule. No instructions came with it, but I found several training videos and written instructions on line.
