Fit like a glove on a 77 CJ7 with T18 and 258. No idea how long it will last.

Easy to install. Need to cut away at the rubber to fit the clutch arm. If you try to force it without cutting first you can rip the rubber. Got the job done.

I ordered this boot for my 1979 Jeep CJ5. The web page said it fits; not quite. The opening is not as wide as the OEM fork. Trying to slide it on the fork, it tore the rubber at the corner on the small end; the end away from the bell housing. The grooves that fit into the bell housing are slightly narrower and when I tried to get the front of the boot started, I couldn't pull the fork far enough back to get the boot started into the bell housing. Seems the boot is a little to snug for the OEM fork. Maybe this would work if you used the replacement fork they sell?I am not enjoying writing this review, because there are not enough trusted places to buy like Amazon. Not sure where to turn now to find an OEM clutch fork boot.

Clutch fork boot doesn't fit bellhousing opening. No opening for fork to go through. Very flimsy material. Useless.

3 stars because although the rubber is pliable it is a bit small for the actual slot in the bell housing. I am debating on using a bit of RTV in the slot of the boot to ensure it stays in place, all in all it seems like good material just needs to be bigger.
