The filters seem to work perfectly and you need them if you have the Medify Air MA-40. Only catch is that the company doesn't seem to want to sell through Amazon any more and you have to go to their website. They do offer filter subscriptions (for those of us, me included, who can't keep track of 6-month intervals on our own), free shipping, and you can get the filters for a bit less there than they were on Amazon.
