Application Scope
This automatic door closer works with all types of medium doors -- right and left swinging doors, wood and metal doors, residential and commercial doors, exterior or interior doors, office doors, outdoor or inside door, fire doors, glass doors with frame and etc.
Applies to door weight between 45-60kg(99lb-132lb), NOT for light door, door width 60-120cm(23.6"-47.2"), Door open range: 180º maximum.
Warning
1. Please be aware that installing a door closer to a light door may cause an open-door laboursome problem, House with children(age under 6) and physical weak people please take this under consideration.
2. Please make sure your door weight and width meet our product’s requirements, otherwise it may cause some unexpected problems like hard to open the door(if you install on a very light door) or doesn’t work well(install on a overweight door).
3. Please be aware that this edition of our door closer doesn't support the auto hold open function.

I’ve had this on a door for about 6 months now and it works great. It consistently closes my door at a consistent speed. Not too hard to install, either. Would buy again.

Fast delivery. Closer arrived today and was installed in my home today. Performs as advertised. Installation was not difficult but instructions gave the impression it could be a bit challenging. Door does require a little more effort to open since installation but not at all a deal breaker. The control screws allow you to change how fast and how hard the door closes with the turn of a screwdriver. My wife likes the function but thinks it’s look is more commercial than residential. So far seems to be a great buy. Only issue is the hardware was not identified in the instructions so some guess work is required. At the end 6 screws are left and I have no idea what they are for.

I bought this in an effort to repair / replace the closer on an aluminum framed porch and storm door. The original gas piston closer had pulled out and the holes where it had been mounted were stripped beyond the ability to use a similar type closer. Additionally, something had originally been rigged because the width of the door frame wasn't really wide enough to mount the closer, so an L-bracket had been mounted to the frame to extend the surface available for mounting. Since ALL of that had been buggered up, it was time to change the approach and get a different type of closer. I chose this one.The kit comes with everything you need other than tools: all the closer parts, instructions, hardware, even a drill bit. There are a few issues with what was sent. First, there was no inventory of parts that tells you what all SHOULD be there or what each piece is. Most of it is pretty self-explanatory, at least if you have some DIY experience; but when it was all said and done, I still have several unused parts. Maybe they would have been needed for a different type of installation. Not sure. Don't really care.The closer can be installed in six different configurations. For each configuration, the instructions include a template to be used to drill the pilot holes for the mounting screws, and the set includes the drill bit you need to install the closer when mounting to wood. For aluminum (which was the case for me), the screws just wouldn't go in and I had to widen the holes with a slightly larger drill bit. Not a big deal. Once I got properly sized pilot holes drilled, mounting and assembly went very smoothly.In its initial configuration, the door closer has quite a bit of resistance when trying to push / pull the door opened. This "tension" can be adjusted for both opening and closing independently. I haven't made that adjustment yet, but will be doing so when I get home this evening. It should only involve adjusting one of two "screws" on the body. If everything works as it's described, the adjustment should be simple.On the whole, I'm very pleased with this door closer. It would be nice if it included a parts list and maybe a slightly larger (like 1mm larger) drill bit to better handle installations into sheet metal framing and doors; but, these are not big issues. I figure, if you're installing the door closer yourself, you probably already have the drill bits you'd need anyway...but the parts list would be nice.

This door closer works great. I'm just writing this review to help others who may find that the door is hard to open if you follow the template exactly. To make it easier to open, you move the top part further away from the hinge side of the door, maybe 1-2 inches away from what the template says. And the door will be easier to open.

This opener is cost effective and does come with great instructions. However this is not for exterior doors with a threshold. It isn't strong enough to fully close the door. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone that is planning to use it for this purpose. Interior doors it would work fine on.

The door at the top of our basement stairs is sticky and doesn't like to close, and our 1-year-old has recently developed a huge fascination with the stairs. With guests, it's sometimes hard to make sure the door gets closed, and we've had a close call. This contraption has been a great solution. It gets the door closed every time. It does make the door a bit harder to open, but that's all the better for preventing the kiddo from opening the door if he somehow gets it unlatched.Install was fairly simple, took me about 45 minutes to do by myself (much of that time getting up and down off the chair I was standing on to install it so I could grab the next screw). The instructions aren't the most clear, but they're good enough.

I had high hopes for this door closer, but it didn’t meet expectations. Mounting Issues: The screws didn’t hold tightly, and I had to use my own hardware to get it mounted properly.3. Performance Problems: Once installed, the closer didn’t function smoothly—it felt jerky and didn’t close the door evenly.If you’re not a pro at installing these kinds of things, I’d avoid this product. It was more trouble than it was worth, and I ended up replacing it with a better alternative.

Schrauben mit ordentlichen Düberln nehmen! Montage zur Zweit ist ein Vorteil (habe es alleine gemacht), weil es ein bisschen kompliziert ist ihn festzuhalten, markiere wo zum Bohren etc....aber es geht.Mein Eingangstür, 90 cm schwere Holztür von 1960, schliesst nun endlich....weil meine Tochter tut es nicht!

Product that was sent is not Onarway its some chinese product, and is not hold open, it had been spray painted to hide scratches and the ports where screws are inserted have rust in them

Good price easy to install (but don't do my mistake and please have a drill otherwise small struggle) and work perfectly-now my flatmates doesn’t need to worry they left widely open doors when leaving the house !
