One out of two that I bought had a gap at the very end of the screw so the wooden post wouldn't tighten straight (cause it couldn't be tightened all the way)

I have bought three of these to replace chewed up versions. They are soft, they dont smell funny when they come in the mail, and they are easy to install and sturdy enough to hold two wrestling rats on top.

I’m bummed I waited to install this hammock in my rats cage. Now that I tried it I can see there is no way it would hold up to their size. And I missed my return window. Don’t be like me folks, just don’t get this type of hammock for larger small pets. I went back to the hammock held up by chains on the four corners. Much more stable.

I have rats and chinchillas, they can access it just fine jumping up and jumping down. I don’t think I would try this with guinea pigs, they aren’t really made for climbing and jumping.My rats access both levels and use it a lot :)
