This is a really beautiful set - very well crafted and artsy - we are thrilled to have it joining our collection of 100+ Nativity sets! We find the size to be perfect. The only complaint (and I'm stretching to call it a complaint) is that the star is on a fairly small base - if you put it on a tablecloth, it will not remain standing. The order was shipped within hours of placing it, so in all, this was a very positive experience.

I purchased this set along with the companion animals and tree set. I placed the order as a favor to my Mom who was purchasing it for my niece. The order seemed to arrive at warped speed. My Mom was very pleased with the beautiful and majestic nature of the nativity along with the fine quality of the craftsmanship. She was so excited to show it to me. It came in a nicely decorated and sturdy box for future storage. She is very hopeful my niece will find it as beautiful as she does.

I found this nativity scene while looking for something more modern. It turned out to be exactly what I was looking for.It is unusual and modern. It is very fragile so I wouldn't have it in a home with children around. Once the Christmas season is done I will probably display it in a cabinet...

This set is very pretty. Looks just origami. I read one review where he said he would put a shiny coat of paint on them but to me, it wouldthen lose the fact that it is to look like "paper'. So it is dull just like paper would be. All my pieces were intact when I got it. Brought as a Christmas gift for next year. Very pleased with the whole set.

A friend had this beautiful nativity set and I haven't stopped thinking about it. I decided to purchase one for myself and am completely obsessed with it! I can't wait for December to come so I can display it and show it off to everyone! It is fragile but stunning.

This is a beautiful set, and so unique. I love the simple elegance. Just be aware that the pieces are extremely delicate. Joseph's hand (holding the staff) was broken when I received the set. It's not surprising given how tiny and unsupported it is--I just figure I'll superglue it, as I'm guessing trying for a replacement will likely get me another broken Joseph, and I want to be able to display it before Christmas.

As Nativity collectors, we are seeking unusual expressions of the birth of Jesus to add to our collection. I tried to obtain this porcelain origami last year (2013 Christmas) and it was sold out( could not obtain from the NPR and PBS. Lovely and delicate in appearance but appears very fragile. We will probably display it only in our home and not use it for Christmas displays in churches for that reason. Love the appearance and delicacy.
