I never thought about owning a copper nugget before, and it's definitely not something I actually need, but when I happened upon this copper nugget, it caught my interest and I just couldn't resist it. The one I received is gorgeous in its organic shape, copper color and metallic shine. It's really cool. There is a spot or two of green oxidation, but I'm fine with there not being too much oxidation because the copper's metallic shine and color are so pretty. I have a small dish of fossils, natural crystal pieces and unusual small rocks that I display on my breakfast room counter, and this beautiful nugget will be the star of that little collection. My daughter loves geology so I really should slip it into her Christmas stocking; it's the perfect size for a stocking stuffer and it would definitely be a fun, unexpected surprise to find such a unique item down at the bottom of the stocking. Hmmm..... to keep it or use it as a stocking stuffer. I want to keep it but in the spirit of Christmas I should share it. I may just have to order a second one because it si really cool!

The nugget specimen received was a bit odd looking with no greenish oxidation noted to the stone that makes it obvious copper isn't just wrapping around it. Could just be a poor specimen, but it is also sort of sus looking. The stone is the correct size, but it is just not a very impressive looking piece to me, looks like there is very little copper wrapping around a more common rock specimen. It is hard to always get a specimen that fits your aesthetic though when shopping sight unseen. I do not think this indicates poor quality of every nugget you might receive. The value seems fair enough and if you really want a piece of copper in your collection, you might have better luck with what you receive the one I received just isn't hitting right for me unfortunately.

Thought I would receive more than one little piece of copper for this price. The product is beautiful but it's way overpriced! I'd return it but it's going to cost me over $13 to return. Very dissatisfied with this purchasing experience.
