Great that it came in a variety of sizes. I would say these are a standard thickness for cake boards. The finish on the boards is nice. They look to be moisture resistant.I use for multi tiered cakes. And have not had any issues with them .

These cake rounds work great for my purposes. They make it so much easier to transfer to and from cake stands. Would recommend!

When I first bought these cake boards, I was disappointed and all set to return them. They were half the thickness of boards I purchased locally. Then I noticed they were coated. Turns out they are sturdy enough. The image on the left is my old cake board, not coated and it absorbed oil from the carrot cake. Looks very unappetizing. The image on the right I used new boards recently purchased. I “glued two together with buttercream. I wanted the coated surface touching the cake, so it wouldn’t be messy when I separated them. And you can see when the layer was cut the cake board didn’t absorb oil from the almond cake. Not unpleasant to look at. I’ve carried multiple cake layers on one board without mishaps.

Having your well-crafted dessert on a sturdy platform is a must and these fit the bill. They are sturdy, yet I can still trim them down (with cardboard scissors) when I need a slightly different size or shape. Overall, I'm very pleased with these.

Perfect size for my cakes, not super thick, but held up well! Used for a 3 tiered cake with no issues
