Quite possibly one of the most expensive and useless devices out there. as far as I'm concerned this is false advertisement at it's finest. You can't watch any of the apps like Netflix etc like it says you can, while when it does connect, there are issues with the volume control, the connection isn't solid and disconnects continually. I installed this on a 2022 Toyota Landcruiser prado. At first my hopes were high, and then quickly they diminished. I followed directions exactly as they say, and immediately it said connected, and then quickly disconnected after. Then it connected again, and quickly disconnected after.. Then one day randomly it connected and the volume was stuck at max and almost blew my speakers out with no way to turn the volume down except to quickly disconnect this garbage device. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Get the cheaper options if all you want is the option to connect without plugging in your Iphone.

Works great on my 22 Honda. I commute a lot and use a lot of the different functions daily. Wireless car play was better than my stock one. Be careful of over heating though. I mounted mine in front of AC vent

Didn’t work as advertised. It would play the music but it wouldn’t show pictures from sources like YouTube, Netflix, and other video platforms as it advertised.

I’ve had a chance to pretty much fully test this now with it having been connected to my 2016 Yukon’s system for the last couple of months. There is a bit of a headache with some set up and operating glitches as well as the instructions not matching the actual operation of the device. The beginning, I even had to dive deep into my google account settings to get YouTube to function correctly with it.I’m pretty certain that 99% of the issues I have experienced with the device are the fault of the vehicle. Once in awhile I have connection issues but I already experienced those with my phone when it was connected directly. Restarting the car remedies the other issues I’ve had with Siri not functioning whereas restarting the device itself only occasionally fixed issues.I definitely enjoy wireless CarPlay with this and that is essentially the primary function I it for. After getting YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon prime video working, the novelty wore off pretty quick and I only occasionally use that feature when I’m sitting my car waiting for long periods. Even when I do use that feature, I find the slight audio delays as bit annoying after awhile.I think there’s a lot to like about the device, but I personally don’t think it’s a good value. You’re paying quite a bit for what it does, IMHO.However, if cost isn’t an issue, you’re somewhat technically savvy, and these are features you really want I have no problem in recommending this.

I have a '21 F150 with the larger touchscreen. At first, I couldn't get anything to work because my truck would hide some of the display under the little panel on the right side of the screen. This is because it is streaming using Carplay, even though it is running Android. For Android devices, my truck has a little icon on the android auto menu selection button on the bottom of the screen that will allow you to use the full screen. For Carplay, that option for full screen is in the Carplay itself. Since this is showing as Carplay instead of Android Auto, that button simply isnt there to select.Work Around - Use a iPhone, make it full screen, then switch over to this box a few times and it should trick the truck into using the full screen mode. Doesn't always work, but had been the only solution for me that has worked..The device itself is really slow. It works, but has a lot of bugs that could use worked out. Once you have logged into a wifi, we use the trucks built in wifi, make sure you go into google play and update all of the apps (takes forever!) then download ones that are useful to you. Most video streaming services that we use work fine, however can sometimes take forever to load. We havent noticed any lagging in audio, but we hardly use it. My daughter mostly watches her tablet or our phone in the car since its much easier and faster to connect and get going, especially since i cant get the full screen to work most of the time.Once i had everything updated, there were still a few things that needed updated from their app store. This worked initially, but i could never get it to work again.Overall, your phone or tablet is a much easier way to enjoy some screen time on the go.. If you were going on a long trip and wanted the convenience of having movies on the screen for the kiddos and you wanna watch something while you rest, this might be ok, but is more hassle than its worth
