Stands will have a mark on the side with the single front leg, as this is the result from when they break away from the mold. Our Vinyl Guard covers are included for you to place of the top of each peg. We have found these covers/guards a great way to prevent your item from slipping and scratching on the stands. The guards were also designed to keep your displayed item more stable.

I purchased these to hold small fossils. I measured each fossil then I bought a holder that was slightly larger than the fossil I wanted to display. I like the rubber feet on the pegs as I feel it helps to stabilize the fossil but will also prevent accidental scratches. Exactly what I was looking for. I also like that these are manufactured in the U.S.A. by a small family run business.
