These socks are comfortable, warm, and stay up without being too tight. I wear a 9 1/2 shoe, so the length is a bit long, but they still fit OK. Have a wide toe box, so toes aren't constricted. Definitely recommend!

finally a cotton (mostly cotton) sock that comes up almost to knee. They are thicker than most. I been searching for the longest time for a high sock as it seems all the sock makers of my past are simply no longer what they use to be. They've all gotten too cheaply thin, shorter, too tight to get on, or are made of other materials that simply make my feet sweat.The only thing is a bit strange is that the heel (supposedly reinforced) of the sock actually sits not really under and around the the heel but just above the heel. My foot s size 12us. I first bought the XL just from experience with most socks not coming up high enough. They went up well towards the knee. I then just received the L size too and not at all much different as they too come up over calf nicely. The size difference is minimal so Ill be ordering more of the L size. And even with L size I expected the heel portion to sit much better under/around my heel is also a bit past my heel too. Not quite as much as the XL but still a bit past. More of that portion sits on the uprise of my heel vs any amount that sits under my heel. Its like they are making the intended foot portion (from toe to heel) a bit too long as it is longer than my size 12 foot even in the Lrg 10-13 size. But the sock over all does come up nice and high over calf. Are (seemingly) good thick quality . probably the best mostly cotton socks Ive been able to find for a long time.Just how well they will last remains to be seen. So far one wear and one wash on my 3 pack of XL versions. There is minimal wear shown just under heal. And that wear is exactly the area which I been talking about where as the heel portion is not covering. But it honestly looks like pretty normal wear.I will be ordering more in the L (10-13) size to rid my sock draw of so many that Ive tried and been unhappy with. These seem to deliver what I been searching for the longest time for the most part although as said only one wear so far.

Good Sox for both cowboy and calf height muck boots. Quality fabric with what seems like a decent grade of marino wool so comfortable in a variety of temps. But most importantly, the stay up! Nothing more aggravating than having to constantly pull up your socks to keep your boots from rubbing your shins.

I love the socks they go right below the knee I mean like the perfect quarter inch they’re comfortable , but they’re a little big in the foot but once you wash them and dry them, they were a perfect fit for me. I like my socks as a snug fit and they do feel very comfortable. I would purchase again.
