The ancient Jewish tradition of lighting votive candles with long burning time in memory of dearly departed loved ones such as in memory of a parent, spouse, sibling, or family member is deeply rooted in culture and heritage. It was my first time buying these candles. They looked like clean candles, they were marketed as a 3-hour burn time, and a reviewer put that they did burn for 3 hours so I thought I would give them a try. Unlike the pictures, they are very small, almost mini candles, and they burn for about 1 hour and 20 minutes. For that burn time, tea lights are a better buy and I would not have spent money on these.

They are just Shabbos candles, the same ones that everyone uses!Mine came a little crushed so I had some broken candles but usually, this is a great product.

Many of the wicks on the candles are not straight. They need to be straightened up so it’s easier to light. It’s dangerous when they’re crooked!But they do stay lit fir 3-4 hours. That’s great!

I have purchased this product in the past with no issues. I was surprised to open my Amazon package full of loose candles and a damaged, torn box.
