I've been using these On-Stage Stands for years, just this time I bought them on Amazon and not from my regular retailer just for the fast Prime shipping. These stands look great and work like a charm. The base is heavy enough to hold many microphones without toppling over. It's not too tall in most situations when put down all the way, but the adjustability does give you versatility with the infinitely adjustable height (versus if there were notches for height settings). From amateur presenters to professionally established & seasoned voice actors, everyone has enjoyed using these stands.Remember to order wired or wireless microphone clips if you do not already have them; this is not included. What you get is a thread rod ending that the clip screws onto.If you are looking at these and on the fence, Go For It. These are a great value for the cost, especially with these being an economy to mid grade budget item. You won't be sad.

I received this microphone as a gift for Christmas because I was just entering into audiobook narration, and needed a stand to hold my microphone. What is this, and why might I want it?: This is a desktop stand for a microphone that has excellent build quality and will enable you to hold your mic for recording purposes. You might want it if you're going to do voice overs at your desk, or even just dictate using Dragon Naturally Speaking, Google Docs, or some other voice recognition program. It would also help for Skype calls or any other sort of communication using your computer.First Impression: The funny thing is, I didn't know what this was when it was wrapped under the tree. I was thrown off a little bit by the density, or weight, of such a small package. That's a good thing, because it's simply demonstrates the heavy-duty nature and durability of the stand.Assembly: Assembly a straightforward. Take the pole, stick it in the hole, and twist to tighten it down. You can adjust the height, as you can see in the pictures comma from about 8.5 inches to about 13 inches. The base is heavy enough, but it doesn't seem to get top-heavy with that range of heights.Function: If you have a standard microphone, this is definitely the table for you. It works great with a Shure SM 58, and it was able to hold my blue yeti, no it was a bit top-heavy since the yeti is a monstrously big microphone. Per standard microphones, you can't go wrong. What you're getting with this order: When you open the box, you have the two pieces that fit together for the microphone stand, itself. And instructions, so I'm not sure they're needed. What you're not going to get: There is not a clip for a standard microphone. Given that mini professional microphones can screw directly to the shaft of the stand, that's not really a huge concern. However, if you have a standard handheld microphone, you’ll need to get a clip to go with it.Appearance: Flat black, with no bells and whistles. I do like to the base has a rougher finish, that keeps it from attracting fingerprints and you can't really notice that dust nearly as much.Build: This thing is solid. We're talking “ if someone were to break into your home at night, and you were sitting at your desk, and that's where the first thing you pick up… you would easily be able to complete the act “in the library with microphone stand”” solid.Any negatives?: I can't really fault the stand for not holding my blue yeti, especially when I add the shock mount to it. I did not take a start off because of this, since the stand is Compact and does exactly what it's supposed to.Bottom line: You'll end up with an excellent, compact microphone stand. And one that can easily be used for self-defense weapon in a pinch.

As a podcast enthusiast transitioning from hobbyist to pro, I knew I needed to upgrade my setup, starting with an Adjustable Desktop Microphone Stand. I must say, this stand didn't disappoint! It's a compact powerhouse that brought so much professionalism to my desk space without cluttering it.First off, the adjustability is top-notch. It offers the perfect height range, making it incredibly easy to set the mic at the right level for recording. Whether sitting or standing, I can count on it to accommodate my needs, thanks to its smooth and stable adjustments. The build quality struck me too—it's sturdy without being cumbersome. The weighted base ensures it stays put, alleviating fears of it tipping over mid-recording. Yet, it's not overly heavy, meaning repositioning it when needed is no big deal. And let's talk about convenience! The clip holder fits my microphone perfectly, securing it safely, and the setup was a breeze—no complex instructions, no fuss. It's sleek, unobtrusive, and blends seamlessly with my other equipment. For anyone diving into the world of podcasting, streaming, or just needing a reliable, adjustable stand for their microphone, this one's a solid investment. It combines functionality with simplicity, all without breaking the bank!

The base is quite heavy, but that's probably why you will like it. The construction is sturdy and, if needed, you can completely disassemble the stand. The height is adjustable and you never feel like it could tip over even when you have a heavier mic attached to it. I can't really say this is good for a desk as it doesn't really suit my configuration. I feel like this would work more on a podium. Depending on your desk setup, this might work well for you.Wanted to add that I did try added boom arm extension to it. Didn't work out so well so take that into consideration if you were looking to throw extra weight onto it. Still, for the price, it's a decent product that will work for most basic configurations.

Perfecto.

This stand is perfect for my condenser mic, an Art M-One, which is a little heavy. The stand’s base is wide enough and heavy/sturdy enough to keep it from tipping over. I tried another product very similar to this, but it wasn’t stable enough to use.I’d buy it again. A+
