This bench is wonderful! My piano doesn't adjust height and the bench that came with it is 19.5" and I needed something around 17-18". This fit the bill perfectly and is very comfy! Super easy assembly and came packaged well, all parts and screws and wrenches worked perfectly together. The other reviews are correct in that this thing feels like it's built like a tank, extremely sturdy.I can only imagine the reason for the bad reviews are because:- The feet are packaged on one side of each box. There are two slots on each end, so it looks like there is a foot missing when there isn't! Take out ALL the Styrofoam inserts in the box and you'll find the other foot.- The seat lean is probably from incorrect assembly! The instructions are very clear that the SHORT side of the foot MUST go on the same side as the handle. Otherwise I imagine the pressure from the pump while sitting would eventually cause the bench to lean after awhile without the extra support.- The hydraulic handle is very easy to use! It's not difficult to adjust at all. Maybe if you are a 9 year old kid, but an adult or teenager will have no issue. It's way easier to adjust than computer chairs! Very smooth.- The stitching on top looks rather cheap, but we'll see how it holds up. I got this bench on sale for $200, so I can't complain too much when comparable benches are way more expensive.

This piano bench is solid, heavy and easy to set up.The clutch for adjusting the height is smooth and quiet.I will never go back to an X-style bench after trying this.

I’ve had mine for almost 5 years and it has held up very well. I’m a classical pianist so I’ve spent countless hours on it so naturally, it is not as cushioned as it once was. This bench is perfect for all players and performance settings. Idk why there are reviews under 5 star here tbh

Got this bench for my daily piano practice as well as for use by my students. I was attracted by the pneumatic adjustment, and the price was good, too. Sadly, after about a month I noticed that the bench top had started to tilt down as can plainly be seen in the photos. It also started to make audible creaks when I sat on it (and I'm under 175 pounds...). This explains my 1* ratings for value & sturdiness. Seat upholstery a bit hard but nicely done got my 3* rating. Conclusion: nice concept but poorly executed. Not sure if it's a design or materials problem, or a combination of the two.

This is worthy to be on great concert stages with 9' Steinways! However, I bought it for my humble Yamaha keyboard. Love it - solid, comfortable, and good looking. The only issue I had was that the Allen wrench provided did not fit the screws. Luckily I have a large collection of Allen wrenches and found one that fit. Just can't drop to 4 stars for that point - this is a great, solid bench. Highly recommend.

Love this piano bench!! It is sturdy and heavy with rubber feet so it doesn’t slide around my floor as my wiggle kids play. The hydraulic height adjustment is very easy to use and smooth. Would highly recommend!

I purchased this bench for its convenience so my 2 kids can adjust the heights of the bench more easily. However the bench's hydraulic system is just too strong and my kids can't push it down without help from adults. My kids weighs 65lb and 50lb respectively. Their friends also purchased this bench (KB9503B) from Amazon and my 50lb kid can easily push down that bench on her own. There seems to be lack of consistency in the quality check of the product's performance.We love this bench at first given its expected convenience to adjust the height but now it's far away from being convenient because my kids ask for help to push down the bench all the time. It's even worse now after many weeks of use, as my kids start to feel discouraged to start playing piano due to the difficulty to push down the bench. There're many times that I had to rush out from my home office or kitchen to help them push it down, and I could sense that my kids felt sad to disturb me from works. I'm thinking to bring back the original bench which may be slow to adjust the height through the rotating knob. At least with that one the kids can adjust the height without asking for help.If there's any solution to reduce the pressure of the hydraulic pressure, I'd be loving the bench so much. For now it's still getting 3 stars from me for the good quality of build.

The product arrived with one part missing. I'll have to return it.*Update: The replacement product just arrived. It took about 10 minutes to complete the assembly. The instructions are clear and the steps are straightforward. Revised to 5 stars also for fast delivery. I will update in 3 or 6 months to see if the padding holds up.
