I am a rock n roll keyboardist and am so glad to have bought this. I use a korg sv1 88-key and a nord electro 2 61-key--a pretty heavy set up. I have to say, the quality and sturdiness of this item is amazing. I can literally hang off of this and it wont budge. It is a bit bulky for my ideal taste, but it is a valuable asset to my rig and I can depend on it with confidence to hold my equipment. A+. I kinda wish that they would take off some screws though and make it a bit easier to set up

I really like this! Drilling the holes was easy-peasy, but I do have a couple of comments.Using this with a Korg X-50 synth (on top of a Korg Triton Extreme 88), the stoppers on the bar where a bit high and actually blocking two keys. So I had to drill new holes in it to be able to lower it. Would have been nice if these stoppers would have that extra hole already, allowing you to choose which one works best. Also, I miss the ability to slide the bars back a bit as the top synth was a bit too far to the front for me. It looks like the bars can't be shortened that easy, so I now just place the keyboard a bit back and am thinking of adding some spacers to it to prevent the synth from sliding back. Also, not a big surprise but it would have been nice if that was mentioned in the description, is that the folding stand is no longer "folding" with this addition...But overall, a nice quality product for an affordable price!

Built as a professional grade. Great materials and fully adjustable. Way better than the other stand's tiers. I even use this 2nd tier for my proline z-stand (different brand of stand), fits perfectly and looks very professional. The only hassle is that you need to drill a hole on each side to have it locked on your stand. But it was really easy, and it has a template to guide you so you can get it in the right spot when you drill. I gave this 5 big stars for materials and 5 big stars for the adjustment flexibility.

If you need a 2nd tier for your Z Stand, look no further. This stand is durable, matches well, and is priced moderately. What they fail to tell you is that some of the older Z Stands do not have the required holes to slot this 2nd tier in, which would require drilling in order to fit securely (they do include instructions and a piece of paper to align the hole properly, however). Fortunately mine did have these holes, so all you have to do is pop out the end caps and snap it in!

I installed this per instructions. It fell over backwards while holding a Prophet 6 and Osmose keyboards in my home studio. It was not knocked over, it fell without even being touched. Thank god my toddler wasn't walking by at the time, this was a massive crash. The Osmose keyboard is visibly damaged, who knows how the prophet is doing internally, will find out. As far as I'm concerned the thing was overpriced to begin with, but now the cost is real, with a damaged keyboard that is literally 2 weeks old.

This is the best 2nd- tier attachment for those "square" Z-keyboard stands. It is strong enough for my 88 key Yamaha S08 (which is almost 40 lbs).I plan on using it only for my studio. If I ever use these attachments for gigging, I would use a U-bolt to secure the second tier to the Z stand for safety. I find this 2nd-tier sturdier than the tubular 2 tier attachment because of it's thickness.
