One of these is the best thing ever to use for a million crazy ideas when you are looking for something to complete an idea you have and can't find anything manufactured to purchase. For example: I removed my bedskirt and put black long underbed storage boxes under the bed but I hated the ugly looking legs from the metal bed frame. I wanted legs that looked like furniture. I bought just one of these beauties and cut it to the height of the bed frame legs, sliced each one like a hot dog bun and set them around the legs. Walla !!! Perfect and now the bed looks like it is standing on a platform with black storage boxes and black pool noodle pieces wrapped very nicely around the legs. I have a good size piece unused and I can think of a ton of things to create with it. Pool noodles are a gift to use for so many reasons. These are sturdy, strong and big. I have no doubt I will be inventing all sorts of handy things for myself using these.

I purchased the item to serve as a bumper between our wall & our large dog's crate. Sometimes he's a little excited when entering the crate and since I have it sitting on a rug to protect the floor it moves a little. The means that inevitably it gets pushed right up against our baseboards. I bought this to go between the crate and the wall and it's jumbo size is perfect. It seems pretty sturdy and considering it was literally sent to us in a plastic bag, I think it's survival through delivery can attest to that as wellIf you are in need of some foam "bumper" I would recommend this item. The inner diameter is 1", for anyone trying to put this around a small pole or the like.

It's a good thickness. Firm, but flexible. Easy to cut to size. So handy for so many things. I'd use more of them if I had more.

Size is as stated, great price and arrived very quickly. The only reason not a 5 star is there were some deformities in the foam.

I needed this to fill the gap between panes on a window. I have an portable A/C and when I connect the hose to the window adapter it leaves a gap up top allowing the hot exhaust air back into the room. The gap is about 48" wide and this worked perfectly for blocking. I originally intended to split it and cap the window pane with it, but instead I was able to just cut a long wedge. No crumbling or falling apart. It was a bargain and still leaves a clean look from outside.

I have a pair of rear ported speakers that had to be placed very close to the wall and they ended up sounding very boomy as a result. After reading about different solutions online (e.g. rolled up socks, drinking straws, styrofoam cones, etc.), I started looking for a strong type of foam. Shortly after that, pool noodles became the solution and I chose to purchase this one because of the price, color, and positive reviews.Ideally, it would have been solid, but luckily the ports on the speakers are 3" in diameter and this pool noodle did the trick. I cut the noodle with a sharp knife and was able to tailor the plugs I made to my liking. While not its intended purpose, this pool noodle serves as high quality speaker plugs/ foam bungs.

I do not use this in a pool. I have an adjustable bed and the position that it is in causes a gap between the headboard and the mattress. Things (such as the bed or TV remote controls find their way into the gap and fall to the floor. I put the noodle between the headboard and mattress and the problem is solved. I have a queen size bed do the noodle is a bit short, but it works.. A better solution than the 75 dollar foam inserts sold for the same purpose.
