I’ve had these installed for roughly a month now down here in southern FL, and they are holding up to the heat and massive amounts of rain we’ve been getting. Pretty sure they were partially submerged in a puddle while driving. They look good and work as described with no issues so far. They are bright, and put off a lot of light. They will light up the whole area around the truck when entering and exiting.Installing these is somewhat easy, clean, peel backing, and stick... that’s it. Wiring them would seem straightforward too. Brake, turn signal, park, etc... problem is I have a newer truck and there’s very little information on the corresponding colors of the factory harness. There’s easily 50 wires in the harness, I used a test light and through process of elimination, and pulling both taillights, I was able to wire everything up. Now mind you I took my time but this was definitely an all day job for me. The hardest wire to find was the puddle light wire, and eventually I just wired the puddle light feature into the interior lights circuit. (On my model the interior lights and puddle lights are two different circuits.)I realize the manufacturer probably can’t provide specific instructions for each vehicle manufacturer but It certainly wasn’t easy for me, so I dropped two stars.

Sequential turn signals do not work. Installed these a few days ago and was totally disappointed. The lights are bright, they look good, but what I really wanted was the sequential turn signals. I have a 2012 Ford F-250 Super Duty, not sure if it’s something in my trucks programming. Lights stay yellow while driving as they should, they turn bright white when any door is opened, but when either side turn signal is activated the strip will just slightly dim the yellow lights when the factory turn signals are activated. Factory signals and trailer signals work as they should, I have these directly wired in with them, so wiring is good. Very disappointed….Update… I was contacted about my issue with the lighting strips and I must say the customer care I received was top-notch! They immediately sent me a replacement set at no cost, which I have not installed yet, but will be installing soon. Thank you for taking care of this issue, customer service like this is hard to come by these days!!

So I’m just an average guy with basic knowledge and master of none of them. It was very challenging installing these due to not having a dependable wiring diagram for my 2021 F250. They vary so much based on year, model, and options. I eventually gave up and did trial and error. Here is what I learned.1) throw away the blue splice clips, they are garbage and don’t make good connections. Even cost me time because they made me think I was on the wrong wires. I cut my wires, spliced them in by twisting them, capped, taped, and shrink wrapped. (Overkill prob but I didn’t want any issues)2) buy a cheap multimeter from Walmart or wherever and go on YouTube to learn the absolute basics. If I can, anyone can. It will help a ton if you go the route I did with trial and error.3) Shrink wrap your connections and a large one over where the wires leave the lights. Will protect from weather. I even bought corrugated tubing to protect the wires until they went into the cab.4) There are many way you can prob get this done. My way is just what I did. I found a constant power with the vehicle on, a ground (although I was told making your own is better), I pulled my taillights to find the blinkers, and I found a courtesy light wire for the white light upon exit. The lights themselves are absolutely awesome. Bright, match the amber running lights, provide plenty of white light when entering and exiting, and you can’t miss the turn signal. I cleaned the surface with brake cleaner and they have not come loose at all and have been on for couple months now. If you have a wiring diagram the install will be a breeze. If you don’t, be prepared to have some patience. The difficult of the install has nothing to do with the lights. It has to do with every vehicle being different. Not even about different makes, but based on year, model, and options. If that isn’t hard enough, the wiring colors on driver side and passenger side were different. Even with the difficulty, I’d buy them again.

After doing most of the install I hopped into the truck to toggle some lights and test the functions again ( I bench tested prior to install ) when I noticed no lights would light up on the led strips. After diagnosing it as the blue plastic clip on tie-in connectors being the only possible issue, I removed them all , cut and spliced all wires with some $5/for 4 crimp and Heat shrink connectors from Canadian Tire. Now everything works beautifully, and I hope it lasts for a long time !
