Not Just for Knees

The Knee Glide was created by physical therapists Robert Schrupp and Bradley Heineck, who saw a need for a home therapy exercise product that helps people rehab from knee or shoulder surgery or injury.

It's ideal for anyone recovering from:

  • Knee replacement or surgeries (ACL, PCL)
  • Hip replacement or fracture
  • Shoulder replacement or surgeries (rotator cuff, etc.)

They have developed physical therapy tools including the Knee Glide, FitGlide, Hanging Handles and the Booyah Stik. Dubbed “the two most famous physical therapists on the internet” (in their opinion, of course), they offer great information on how to stay healthy, fit and pain-free on their popular YouTube channel, Bob & Brad, which has more than 4.5 million subscribers.

I read all the reviews and knew I'd need this for after my knee replacement. Definitely cut my recovery in half as with the glide I could easily work my knee and get the range of motion I needed. I used it on the bed and would put on the floor as well. So much better than trying to slide your foot on the bed or other surface. Definitely worth the money.

I had knee replacement surgery and I love Bob n Brad- I mean, they are the 2 most famous physical therapists on the internet! Anyway every other contrapment created to help movement after surgery was either extremely cheap and cheap looking or to expensive! So I found this and even my in home therapist was impressed with the functionality of it. I use it under my office desk and my range of motion has increased a lot. Highly recommended.

This is really helpful for after an AMZ/distilization (also known as a Tibial Tubercle Osteotomy/TTO) surgery I had that included a lateral release and MPFL reconstruction- I watch bob and brad on YouTube and I’ve used this after I was cleared to start bending my knee by my surgeon - it’s been a week of using this and I’m supposed to bend to only 50 degrees until X-rays but this has helped tremendously and my PT confirmed I can bend to 85 degrees in just a week of using this tool! It’s very light weight, I can use it during work while I work from home, and I can change it to work my quad or hamstring. My range of motion has improved a lot and I don’t think it would have improved as much without this tool. I’m keeping this for future knee surgeries I’ll probably end up having in my life, but I will definitely recommend it to anyone I come across who gets a knee surgery as well. I love this tool, and it’s so helpful- if you’re on the fence, I’d recommend it.

I had a total knee replacement six weeks ago. The Knee-Glide has been great for working on my range of motion. It moves smoothly and gives me an easy way to work my knee while sitting at my desk.It has a stand that swings down and elevates the end of the KG. Great, except it doesn't snap into place. I'll set it up and everything's fine until I try to move KG a bit. The stand collapses, the KG falls flat, and I have to reach down and pick up the KG to reset the stand again. It really needs some way to lock the stand in place. This is annoying enough to drop my rating down to three stars.

I purchased this product for PT purposes pre/post total knee arthroplasty surgery. This product is lightweight, well-designed. convenient and able to provide multiple therapy functions related to range of motion, joint and muscle strength, promoting synovial fluid and increasing blood flow. I like the fact it can be used anywhere--carpet, hard surfaces and on top of a bed, sofa, massage table and such. It stays put and glides smoothly. The product was designed by physical therapists which is a big plus in my book. Having worked in the medical field most of my life, using products developed by people who actually do the job make life so much easier.I would highly recommend this product for use after shoulder surgery or injuries as well considering what I had to use after my fractured shoulder and my husband had to use post rotator cuff repair.

I watched Bob and Brad P.T.s on youtube and I saw this device they helped design. In preparation for my TKR I ordered one for my rehab. The time came and the doctor sawed my leg bones off and put in my bionic knee. Rehab starts the minute you wake up and in 4.5 hrs. I was home start to finish. I began using this device that day. At one week after surgery I was measured at 120 degrees flexion. I used it 2 x a day. As time went on I would put 1 foot in front of the other foot and move back as far as I could and hold and do 10 times. Then I would do 30 regularly and finally I was up to 100 times. I am now almost done with PT walking 1/2 mile at a time and been going to the gym 2 x a week. It has now been 4 weeks post surgery. I cannot recommend this highly enough. Do yourself a favor and buy this device if you are going to have TKR.

I watch Bob and Brad's YouTube videos, and when I saw them using this, I thought it was just another money gimmick. With knee replacement coming up, I decided to give them a try. The unit is slick and built solid, and the glide is easy, which is needed to get the knee to help get some lost flexion back. The flip-up handle to raise the glider is a great feature. I use 5 lbs weights while using the glider, which helps build strength. I am happy to have bought the device. The unit itself is light but does not move on the carpet. I have not tried it on wooden floors or tile, but looking at how the bottom is made, I'm sure it will also remain in place on those floorings.

If you are looking to rehab your knee (post-injury, post-surgery), this is a great tool to help with your range of motion in the critical early rehab phase. I had my knee replaced last December and ROM is important to re-establish. This device helped with that, having an easy glide that allowed to control the extent to which I bent my knee, slowly allowing me to bend my knee more and more. Recommended.

If you had Knee Replacement you most bend it every day. This product makes it easy. Any time any place.

Hinge to raise the knee glide should lock in place that’s the only beef about it
