Your cart is empty.Quick coupler valves and keys are a time-tested way of making it easy to access a pressurized line anywhere in a landscape, while keeping it safe and secure. For that reason, it is very common to see them at golf courses and commercial properties, although you will see them in residential applications, too. The valve is made of durable brass, including the lid which prevents debris from entering the valve. The durable O-rings are serviceable and replaceable. The inlet threads are 3/4-inch female pipe thread (FPT). Typical installation is on a 3/4-inch riser from a 3/4-inch mainline (continuously pressurized) tee or elbow fitting. It is common to place a 7- or 10-inch round valve box, with lid at grade level, over the valve. The double lug valve key has a durable brass body and a steel handle. Insert it into the valve and turn clockwise to turn the water on, and counterclockwise to turn it off. The outlet threads of the key are 3/4-inch male pipe thread (MPT). You can adapt it to hose thread with a 3/4-inch FPT x 3/4-inch MHT brass hose-to-thread fitting, making sure to apply pipe tape to the MPT threads on the quick coupler. For outdoor irrigation use with cold water only.

Quality product, fit my Orbit 3/4" quick coupler perfect. As another reviewer mentioned, but worth noting, the threaded male end of this quick connect key is PIPE THREAD. Buy an adapter if you want to use with a garden hose or with one of the commonly made sprinkler blow out flex hoses.

This product arrived as advertised, packed nicely, and I proceeded to put it together after buying a regular hose valve. With a little Teflon tape and a couple of wrenches , I was in business. After putting it into a Rainbird valve, and leaving it set for a spell, to make sure it didn't leak, I hooked up a garden hose, with sprayer, and began watering my plants. It works great and cost a lot less than some of the other valves I was looking at. Thank you for a great product, at a great price, Philip Marshall

This is a superior quality product. Solid Brass. Should last for years. The 3/4 inch thread is intended to attach to a 3/4 inch female hose faucet. It is also threaded for a male 1/2 inch faucet. The unit does not attach to a hose by itself! See my picture for details.

Warning...this is a I/2 inch valve key with a 3/4 inch thread on top. The description should say 1/2†not 3/4â€. But it is a fine valve for the price if you have a 1/2†insert to use it on.

I use this to hook my air compressor into my sprinkler system in order to blow out the water in autumn. It worked great for that purpose.
