this is a nice, easy tank light for low light and/or night diving conditions.I've tested this out under a few different scenarios now.First the pros.- it's real easy to use and attach around your tank valve.- it is easily seen underwater. it's blinking pattern is enough to be visible but not so much as to be annoying.now a couple of cons.- it could be just a little bit brighter.- i got the blue light. though it visible, i think the white light is a better option.- though easy to attach, it is loose and slips around a bit. it takes a little bit of playing around to fit it snugbottom line, as an instructor, it is a great tool so students can easily and quickly identify which guy in the black wetsuit is their instructor.

Small and easy to use. Just twist and it's on! Still have never had to charge it, battery just lasts forever. The little case for it too makes sure don't lose it. I think it's a great safety thing to have. All my dive buddies say it helps keep an eye on me when we are diving in pitch black in night dives or cavernous areas. Now I just need to get more of these so I can stick them on all my friends when we dive!

The Orcatorch tank light on my first dive with it worked pretty well. It is priced right, small and very compact. It has a solid on/blinking light option. We used one for our tanks and my buddy used the blinking mode to mark a guide rope. They aren't as bright as other types but they are compact, easy to use. Battery is a common AAA battery and not an odd type to try finding. I also like the color options to use for identifying other divers or an ascent line for wreck diving.

Multiple dives have been done with it, and it works really well. Good luminosity, good lifespan for the battery (low drainage), well constructed.
