File guide and depth gauge works well to get you started on the proper depth/angle geometry for optimal cutting corner and gullet, and depth gauge. Recommend a couple of on-line videos for all you need to know about proper sharpening and a round file one size smaller than you chain spec to help start the gullet with minimal loss of metal. In 10-20 minutes you'll be an expert and realize how badly the hardware shop/chainsaw dealer has been butchering your chains. "Never more!"

I've never used a 'proper' chainsaw sharpener until now, but this was easy enough to use, and made a remarkable improvement in cutting speed. Like many products, the instructions pretty much assume you already know how to use it, so I offers fine points, mainly.

Easy to use and works as described. Files are better quality then some others that are made of softer steel and wear out after using a couple of times.
