Developed in collaboration with professional arborists, our hand saws feature an ergonomic design for ease and comfort, and premium high-carbon steel with chrome plating for extended blade life. Taper-ground blades and tri-edge teeth reduce friction for a smooth, controlled cut every time.
The 13 inch curved profile design increases cutting power with less force for further away branches. The blade comes with a scabbard included, which is a quick release push button release for easy access. There’s a hole in the scabbard’s nose to prevent debris build up, and it’s designed to accommodate leg strap and belt loop attachments.
Easy to replace the blades: Use a coin to remove the two plastic screws on the saw handle and pop out the nuts. Search for replacement blade part number 600139.

I'm a lifelong arborist, and this handsaw/scabbard are great for the price point. If you need a handsaw that will last & get the job done you can't go wrong with this product...

The saw quite sharp and cut easily through three inch limbs (on a dozen murdered crepe myrtles). The scabbard and handle are made of very light plastic and probably would probably flop around if you're climbing or crawling. However the plastic seems to be quite scratch resistant. The handle seems hollow which minimizes the weight but I would have preferred a stouter handle. My rating reflects a totally useless latch on the scabbard. It's reasonably priced.

Bought for general garden use, hedge laying and woodland management. Comes with sturdy sheath with safety release catch which was stiff to open initially but once you knew how much pressure was needed was much easier. The sheath allows the saw to be fastened to your belt which is really useful as you never need to put it down, its always safely stored and easily accessible. As with many of these type of saws it cuts on the 'pull' stroke and with a curved sharp blade makes short work up branches without much effort. Easily cuts through 10-15cm stems if done correctly. The replaceable blade is a bonus that should make this a good purchase. Comfortable in hand and when use both with and without gloves, no blisters or 'hot spots' after a full morning of use. Can't comment on durability yet as only used a couple of times, but still sharp after being used for a couple of sessions.

Bought on chance that it would fit my Silky - the original blade snapped cutting a xmas tree in minus 8 degrees! The Oregon blade fits perfectly with the caveat that you can only use the bolting mechanism on one of the holes - but this is not a problem with the slinky handle because they ar pucker large diameter very secure bolts so even one is enough! £25 for an Oregon blade vs £60 plus for a genuine Silky blade....it's a NO BRAINER!!!

Je possède déjà une tronçonneuse de cette marque et j'en suis très satisfait. Après utilisation intensive de cette scie, je peux dire que la qualité et l'efficacité sont au rendez vous. Vraiment très satisfait de cet achat.
