Setup was very easy on this device. I used high quality Cat6 cable for the runs. The longest run that I used this for was about 120 Ft. I do not get any flicker or signal loss. The pass through is a very nice feature. In my use case scenario, I did not use the IR functionality, so I cannot speak to that.

Buen producto, lo use para dividir la señal de mi pc a varios televisores y todo ok, a pesar de que son de diferentes resoluciones. No use cables hdmi, use cable ethernet categorÃa 6, con adaptadores, la distancia mas larga fue de 18 metros.

Good build quality but had issues with more than 4 mixed brand HDMI TVs are connected. Get no signal or flicker on TV.

got this 8 way splitter last year for my multi monitor system at church. It works great! Hooked up my laptop via the hmdi and then sent my presentation slides to several big screen tvs for the sanctuary and the even to the downstairs TVs in several rooms.

This one seems reliable and glitch free. Operating as expected with no video loss on any outputs so far. Had for a couple of months....
