I picked this HDMI extender for one specific use, to transmit out to a projector in our yard for Halloween. And for that, the extender works very well. That is, line of sight and not too far.I did try these inside with my entertainment system, and they work very well when the distance to the display is short. I found that within 30 feet with a clear line of sight, they worked perfectly. But if you try to transmit to another room going through a wall, that was more hit and miss and there would be dropouts.If your use case is a short-range line of sight, then I believe these will work very well for you. But I can not recommend it to them if you will be transmitting to another room or longer distance.I do like them, and they do work well for my application, and they are easy to install and use.

Many of these are advertised as 4K but only do 1080P. This one is true 4K and is simple to use. 4 out of 5 stars because the latency is still enough to make lining up a mouse on a button tricky, but it's still the best one I have come across.

I am so glad I found this set of wireless HDMI connectors. I watch a lot of videos on my laptop and normally have to connect an HDMI cable from the computer to my TV. With these, I just leave one connected to the TV and plug the other into the computer when needed. The video and audio both come through perfectly. They sync up easily every time.

I'm impressed with the OREI Wireless HDMI Extender, which delivers on its promise of reliable, high-quality wireless streaming. I tested it using my Mac, and it worked flawlessly, recognizing the extender as "IPCOLOR" without any issues. The setup is truly plug-and-play, with no hassle or complicated configurations. The video quality is awesome, supporting up to 4K @ 60Hz with minimum lag or latency issues. IT IS TRUE 4K not cheap 1080P device. It's perfect for streaming from my laptop, and XBox to my HDTV. However, the price is steep, though this is True 4K, which might be a barrier for some. While it's worth the investment for a seamless wireless HDMI experience, I wish it were more affordable. Overall, a great product that delivers on quality and convenience, but with a premium price tag. Four stars.

I was excited to ditch the long HDMI cable running across my living room. This Orei wireless extender does deliver on its promise of easy setup and decent 4K picture quality. However, I did notice some occasional stuttering and lag when streaming content at 4K 60Hz, especially with fast-paced action scenes or sports.For casual viewing of Netflix or YouTube, it works perfectly fine. The 60-foot range is also reliable as long as there are no major obstacles between the transmitter and receiver. But if you're a hardcore gamer or movie buff who demands flawless 4K 60Hz performance, you might want to explore other options.Overall, this extender is a decent choice for those seeking a simple way to eliminate HDMI cables. Just be aware that the 4K performance might not be flawless for all content types.

I have become a fan of these new wireless HDMI connections. Rather than settling on one particular brand I am now using four different brands. These OREI connectors work very well exhibiting good picture quality and good audio syncing. These are being used with a laptop that sits about 15 feet away from a 55" TV. No problem with connections or performance. These have the look and feel of quality and some interesting features. These have an attached cable HDMI connector rather than having the connector coming directly from the dongle. This makes it much more convenient for use with close HDMI ports on devices where other ports could be blocked by the dongles. They come with two 1-meter micro-USB power cords. Each Dongle has a channel button to make finding the connection easy. The only three negatives I have with them are they are large dongles. The largest of the four sets that I use. They use a micro-USB power cable and not USB-C. At this stage in the modern product cycle all USB connections should be USB-C. And finally, although they perform very well, they are priced higher than many other similarly good wireless HDMI connectors.

This product works very well and has a great range as well. Suitable for our streaming television and audio. When it comes to playing video games where people are still using wired mouses and wired headsets because there is no latency there you can't really expect that this additional data transfer is going to be flawless. But in 2024 it really is an amazing piece of technology.
