We have an elderly cockatiel, and we bought this for him to rest in. While he doesn’t sit in it, he seems to enjoy the feel of it on his feet and leans on the bars for a rest. He looks comfortable in it. He tends to throw out the liner, so he poops in the nest, but it’s very easy to clean. Overall, we’re really happy with this well-made product.

My cockatiel enjoys sitting in this nest/perch. It is a little wobbly once installed into the cage but it doesn't seem to bother my bird. He seems to use this nest/perch for his nap times.

I have two rescue cockatiels and the female, Elsa, used to sit on her water dish, and you know what comes next 💩 💩 💩. As a result, I had to change the water several times a day. I tried a lot of different things but she was always most comfortable just sitting on that water dish. Until I bought this. I just placed it above the water dish (leaving them enough room to get to the water) and problem solved!! She really seems to like it and we have fun together when I put the liner in and she throws it down and I put it back and she throws it down…..

It's ok, just know you will never be able to clean it, that and it's a pain to put on.

It's a bit small for a pigeon but is good quality and appears handmade. My complaint is that of the two wing nuts it shipped with, one is the wrong size!

Nice size. Good quality. Perfect for African Grey Parrot or smaller sized birdie. My hardware worked fine. I know some people complained about their nuts but mine were good. Snugged up to the cage.
