Very fast data transfer from phone. I can move a 26gb 4k video file in about 80 seconds. From the orico to the computer, however is only about 38mbs and same transferring computer to orico. It was purchased to get files from the phone so I didn't have to tie up my phone for 2 hours hooked to the computer. Now I can leave the orico to transfer at its own place and walk away. I own 2 now and have no regrets. I use one just for movies, videos, music and books to use on my phone. The other is just to revive pics and video from my phone to computer. I havent made 8k videos yet. I couldn't imagine the size but 4k runs 15 to 35 gigs in size when I'm recording. That's big enough

Good looking. Reasonably priced. Comes with a dual type-C/A cable. Doesn't get hot even when loading up close to full. 238 GB, which is expected (256x0.93). Speed close to USB 3.0 read/write, which is also what it claims. Has been with me for just a couple of days - durability only time will tell. Gets the job done, overall!

I bought it to replace to original Tesla USB key in the glove box that was a little faulty.A bit of tech for people interested. I made 2 partitions, 1 in ext4 format for the cameras and 1 in extFAT for the music (ext4 is not supported anymore for the music).Perfect and fast when downloading files on a computer.

My MacBook ran out of storage. Transferred all my videos to the ORICO. Played back flawlessly. May get a couple more for our iPhones.

Saw this unit on a YouTube review. This is not a flame thrower in terms of speed but is significantly faster than a flash drive. Purchased these to use for my job. I cannot determine longevity since I have had only a few weeks, but performance per dollar spent is amazing. Included cable has dongle for USB A connectivity if needed.
