Quality of the porcelain seems good, albeit a bit on the smallish side. The problem is that the hole in the bottom is so large that my paper filters tear out the bottom and dump coffee grounds into the cup. I don't like the coffee that results with permanent metal mesh filters, so I'm returning it.

Uneven bottom, sits tilted, and surface has an unpleasant sticky feel to the touch. Recommend buying the original Origami cone made in Japan
