Definitely not heavy duty, the dogs scratch them and bite through it but they last 6 months - for the old pups they have lasted longer -I am very pleased with the product - and they have become part of our family we will keep buying and keep it - this brand has been able to last longer than the other brands and I am telling the pups jump on top, fight on top of them and the structure remains as the bed - of course after a long run of bites, scratches and pulls they go down but I am telling from all I have tried in a real point of life for my budget and pups - this has been the longest one, best price and they love it. I will just add the following - I have 11 rescues mostly Labradors retrievers from 1 year old to 12 years old...the younger pups are the ones who bite, scratch, jump etc...two in particular have a lot of anxiety and without teaching them to control the anxiety and to respect the bed no bed will last less than 1 hour, unsupervised just let it be without education there will be no toy, blanket, sofa, or bed that lasts....and leaving the beds to outside rain and sun- runs the beds of life too...I have tried so many brands - so far the only one keeping up with the training and the pups diverse personalities is this one. Of course I have to put some behavioral control points otherwise I will be buying beds every other day....goes with toys, food bowl, furniture, etc. And on the months the pups are in the teeth phase you need to add behavioral control points - and get the special toys to remove the attention toward the beds, furniture, etc....the thing I love more about this beds - it is the structure - does not go funny and i don't have to be jumping to fix the structure and the dogs can go on them trusting it will not jump something - plus they really love the beds....as the other brands they go by themselves and prefer to be more on this beds than the furniture....they are fresh too!!

We have had our Coolaroo since 2013 upon recommendation of our dog trainer at the time! Our previous dog is sadly no longer with us, but we wanted our new puppy to use this great elevated bed. Our previous mini aussie dog really loved this bed - he chose this bed or the hardwood floor out of all the options he had! But our yorkie chose never to use it as she preferred comfy, stuffed beds to curl up in.While our original cover may have still been in usable shape (it's that durable and long-lasting!), we appreciated the idea of a brand new cover on our existing frame for the new puppy so it would be clean and free of smells of another dog. In a world of so much waste, it was nice to reuse the frame that we already have. While our first mini aussie was able to use the same cover for his whole life, our second mini aussie pup has chewed a hole in his within two months...so we are thankful that we are able to get replacement covers!It's great for dog training (i.e. training "place") or just a great comfy resting place for a very hairy pup that appreciates the air flow underneath so he doesn't get too hot!

Bought this for my Dalmatian who destroyed the previous one when he was a puppy hopefully. Hopefully he's grown out of that stage and this one lasts a lot longer. I also picked up two more for my 12-year-old Jack Russell, and my 2-year-old Jack Russell.

After buying an ill-fitting knock off cover from aliexpress, I came back here to get the real thing for a few dollars more. They last about 1-2 years out here in the weather, but I have 130lb dogs laying on them, so they have a hard life. I like the lighter color because it's not so hot when they lay down if the bed has been in the sun, and the weave is loose enough to allow water through so they don't turn into an elevated puddle during winter.

Está funda de hamaca es lo mejor para el exterior. Es fácil de limpiar pq con agua y jabón y un manguerazo queda como nueva. El perro no se queja asà que suponemos que le gusta su hamaca de exterior🤣 con el tiempo si que es verdad que de el peso del animal se da un poco pero hasta que pasa eso pasa mÃnimo un año y medio o más. Yo es la segunda que compro y estoy contenta.

Love this colour better than the original terracotta we got her. Depending on various aspects like your dog's level of activity, their nails, their weight, the covers will have varying degrees of wear at different rates. The original one we got her was good, but her nail caused a hole in a month (which stayed small and very slowly grew — she didn't seem to mind). We kept the cover for over a year before truly needing to replace it.This one shows no signs of wear yet. Great product. Sew your own designs if you want! The frame's built solid and provides opportunities for customization with even more durable fabrics and quirky designs!
