It would be nice if they was more information on how to do this. Comes with 2 gaskets, 1 washer, 1 fiber washer. Are you supposed to use all of them?

Used the two foam gaskets on top and the rubber and paper gaskets on the bottom with the paper against the threaded ring. I do not like using plumber's putty since it hardens and seems to leak over time. The foam gaskets replace the need for plumber's putty. I did have to snug it down quite a bit to stop it from leaking.
