As long as they last and don't blow, I'm happy with this purchase. I have them tied to a Taramps 1200x4 amp that is realistically putting out about 150 watts to each channel and the cobalts seem to do just fine. For the money for now I'm going to say it's a fantastic deal. I bought to replace a set of Pioneer TS-A 1607C speaker that had great bass and midbass but had this severe harshness in the upper midrange that I couldn't get out with a crossover or EQ, nothing worked. These Cobalts did the trick and sound a bit better. With almost no harshness and what they do have I seem to be able to adjust to make the listening more pleasurable. And less fatigued.

Awesome sounding Mids/Tweets. Way more clarity and midbass than I expected and great musical reproduction. I don't think they make these any longer, so if you find some, snag them up. That's what I'm doing to do!!! LOL. I could use these in both rigs, I installed these in a Nissan Xterra 2001. Dynamat install on the entire inner door, inner rear well got the Cobalt 6x9's and Dynamat again. Running Cobalt subs and Soundstream amps for subs (3000w mono) and for mids/highs (1400w stereo) with a Sony BT deck. The whole system sounds amazing and clear, even when driven consistently over 140db!! Great speakers for the money!!!!!

I love my orion hcca amp and was hoping this speaker would be of the same quality. My stock truck speakers sounded better than this. The listing says returnable but returnable at your own expense.

These things sound GOOD! I put these in my daughter's civic and it fricking hits hard.. was kinda worried since I hadn't messed with Orion brand since the 90's, but these did not disappoint!!

Had to do some modifications to my coupe to get these in but man was it worth it. There pretty awesome atm not sure how long they will hold up but fingers crossed ðŸ‘
