This is a very decent set of harmonic balancer puller, neatly tucked in the box. It has all kinds of screws and adapters for various balancers. I am more than happy to replace my old set with it. I especially like that there are additional spaces for some of my extra screws. For about $20, it is hard to beat such a great value.

I’m one of those YouTube mechanics haha and do all the work on my cars and got tired of renting these dang things from the auto parts store. I had bought a claw style and always ended up needing this bolt style so of course I’d damage the crank pulley trying to use the jaw style but no more! This is just what I needed!

I go this to pull the flywheel off my cub cadet and this kit didn't work at all. I wound up using a pry bar and hammer to get the flywheel off. The frame that you attach everything to is too small. It didn't extend outwards enough to reach the bolt holes in the flywheel

I took a chance on this hoping it would work as a steering wheel puller and thankfully it does. I’ve used similar pullers in the past for harmonic balancers and I have no doubt this one will do the job for that task (which it’s designed for), but nice to know it can be used for other “pulling†projects.Overall, the design is pretty straightforward, with the main component having a decent range and variety of set-up possibilities due to the size and number of slots for the bolts. I should also add that the included bolts are both metric and SAE, so you should be covered on both older domestic and import vehicles. There are also two different “tips†(flat and pointed) for the main tension screw which provides more flexibility depending on what you’re using it for. In my case, I used the flat tip to press against the steering stem.So why only 4-stars? Perhaps this was a bit harsh, but the case is pretty poorly molded, such that the latches would not catch and stay closed, which meant I had to use some duct tape to keep it closed.Overall though, this is a decent quality tool that should be just fine for most occasional use.

Very pleased with this purchase. Not a tool that one would use often, but when you need it, you need it! The tool and the storage box are well made and will certainly serve the purpose when it comes time to be used.

High quality puller set. This will pull a lots of things other than the harmonic balancer - such as steering wheels. High recommend this set.

Pulled a Harmonic Balancer and needed to get a pulley off the power steering pump. Kit worked great for both needs. I agree the case is pretty cheap for such a heavy kit, but I just used some heavy duty adhesive Vinyl sheets and molded them to the kit, so I feel good about it's future now.Shipped and arrived quickly.
