I got this for a Christmas gift and I keep it in the living room and every person that comes in wants to turn it around and learn more about the world. I love this. It was my favorite gift.

Very colorful, vibrant globe. Well made. Spins easily. Lights up brightly. The plug is in a bit of an odd spot so it is very noticeable; no way to hide it. Overall, very nice globe. Great gift or item to keep.

Purchased the globe for education purposes. The quality and readability is great. It rotates with ease. The colors enhance the shape of countries. Great for school aged children and adults.

I love this globe but Atlantic Ocean is missing the letter "n." I bought another one in case it was an isolated incident. Sadly, both globes had the letter "n" missing so it may be printed incorrectly on all the globes. Returning both.

Product came in an unlabeled cardboard box, no evidence of damage. Once open this was confirmed. Item was wrapped in bubble wrap. Included were the globe and a USB power cable with an on and off switch. No instructions were included, but assembly was very intuitive with just plug cable into the lower part of the globe stand and the USB into a proper outlet and click on the switch in the mid-section of the cable. Lit, the globe in very impressive. Colors are very brilliant, and country names are easy to read. There is a legend located in the southern Pacific Ocean. To the right of the legend are a listing of numbers and related countries. This is to identify smaller counties where there isn't enough room for a label (ex: 3 - Liechtenstein which is located between Italy, Switzerland and Austria). A 3 in a circle with a line pointing to the country location gives you the spot. A couple of negatives are the international dateline is very faint and hard to follow. Another issue which is very apparent are the shape of some of the US states, especially the southeastern ones. KY, VA, NC, SC, GA and FL are the most obvious. I can't speak to other countries as I am not as familiar with true shapes. One last issue is this globe only spins on one axis and not able to tilt in order to see the southern hemisphere below -15* S latitude, you have to pick the globe up to view which not only is an inconvenience but could create problems with kids. The dial at the top of the globe to indicate degrees of longitude are very hard to read. I had high hopes when ordering this item as it was a gift for inquisitive grandsons.

The globe is really beautiful, but it was just too big for the area we were going to put it.
