Beyond my expectations. Beautiful color (army green). I was surprised at the beautiful orange color on the inside. And the fleece around the neck is so soft and cozy. Great quality. Gorgeous fun jacket. Very durable material and sturdy zippers.So versatile. You can adjust this jacket infinitely with the side zippers. I went for a 3 mile walk with my dog to test the warmth. It was about 30 degrees, and I was completely warm. As a comparison, my ungloved hands were painfully cold. I’m 5’5” and 135 lbs. and I ordered the Small. Fits perfectly.

I bought this awhile ago and wanted to wear it in the winter before reviewing. I absolutely love this coat. It's warm, cozy and soft. The hood is amazing to keep wind off your face. While I agree the sleeves seem a tad too short, there is a black band that goes around your wrist so no cold or wind gets in. Tons of pockets. I can put my keys, doggy bags, phone etc in a safe place. It still looks brand new. Wipes clean. I love love this coat. Just buy it!

I LOVE this coat. It is casual, warm, comfy and everything I have been looking for over the years! Lots of zippers and pockets, very sturdy zippers and wind protection. I usually wear ladies size 12-14 and bought a large which fits me perfectly. I feel great wearing something this luxurious since I don’t own much casual wear that is this nice. I know what a good buy I made at a reasonable price and highly recommend!!

LOVE THIS COAT! I'd absolutely recommend, and would buy again in a heartbeat.I am currently 7 months pregnant and bought this coat a month ago, wearing it non-stop since it arrived. It's delightful! I was so skeptical of an affordable garment with so many positive reviews, but I can't imagine a better coat for the price. The bonus is that it's versatile enough to wear through my pregnancy, but stay in my closet permanently.For reference, I am 5'3". Pre-pregnancy, I weighed 150 and wore size M-L shirts with a 36-D bra, and size 10 pants. I am now 7 months pregnant and weigh 175. The size Large fits me as perfectly. Well, as perfectly as any other garment does at this point, even with my big belly! The coat is just constructed in a really intelligent way to look drapey and casual with room for my curvy parts, but still giving me a really long profile that makes me look and feeler taller and slimmer. Plenty of room even still for my chest to get bigger, gain more weight all around, and for my belly to grow. My arm or shoulders are not restricted at all, even when lifting my arms up, driving, lifting or chasing my toddler. I've worn it with bulky sweaters/hoodies underneath, scarves, gloves, the whole winter kit, and it still has room to move and be a human. It's also warm enough that I've worn it with just a t-shirt and leggings underneath and felt toasty warm, and the look or feel of the coat still wasn't too big.Don't be scared off by how much room I'm bragging about! It's not that this size Large is so gigantic, it's just that unlike most other winter coats I've tried, there is actually versatile construction that takes into account the fact that women do have shoulders and arms, and parts of our bodies that are curvier. Even if you were a taller or thinner person, this would drape in a flattering way. There are side panels that unzip all the way up to your hips allowing for a bit more flexibility, and while there is still a panel of fabric holding the the unzipped area together, it's still helpful. There is also a row of snaps on either side of the zipper that can be unsnapped to allow for extra room along your belly and chest without changing the look of the jacket much at all. The pockets are slightly above your hips so there isn't a strange pulling on your hips when your hands/items are in your pockets like in many other coats. There are two huge utility pockets around the waistline that zip up and fit things like your cell phone/small wallet/phone perfectly. See? It's just smart.I do imagine that in a few weeks, I'll have trouble sitting in my car with the coat zipped up, even with the side panels unzipped for that extra bit of room. That's not particularly a problem, though. It will warm up in chilly Kansas City eventually, and I have plenty of room in the coat to wear layers to keep the chill away for the short periods when I may have to move around unzipped when my belly is just so big. For the price, I'd honestly consider buying one size up if I ended up outgrowing the jacket before the baby is born in spring and just donating it when I no longer needed it. If you can only afford one coat and you are just starting your pregnancy, or are already far enough along to have a huge belly, I'd order up a size from your normal measurements just to assure you'd be able to sit down while zipped up without pulling the jacket a little higher on your hips. It might look a bit too big at the beginning, or might not be as flattering post-pregnancy, but not everyone has the luxury of buying multiple specialty items during a pregnancy and your normal non-maternity size might not work as well for you.Bonus- I am usually very allergic to goose and duck down, but the down feathers used in this coat seem to be very clean. I've had no sensitivity to the feathers! It's hard to beat down for warmth, and I'm so glad to have found genuine and clean down for a wildly low price.

Love the coat. Super warm. It was a little snug on my hips, but with the extendable zippers it fits great. The lining is wonderful and the style is super cute.I took a star off because when I was putting the fur part on the hood one of the connectors popped off before I even used it. The hood also has no way to tighten it to get it to stay in place. It also has a kind of strange scent, but that is going away.

I bought a similar jacket, that was half as much recently but it didn’t keep me very warm. I bought this after a friend bought it and was happy so I returned the first and purchased this. It keeps me so warm in really cold, damp weather, and I find the hood the best I’ve had ever. The hood is fleece-lined, warm, big enough to fully cover my head and instead of flopping down over my eyes, stays some what upright so I can see. It has snaps on both sides so that if you are wearing a heavy sweater you can expand it up to make up for the added bulk. I didn’t know this when I purchased and I went up a size. I think this coat runs a bit large and my coat is really roomy. It almost feels like a blanket. These puffy jackets are not flattering but it’s about function, not style. I could have ordered my regular size with the snaps. But I am very happy with its roominess as it never constricts my movement. I don’t really like all the zippers and pulls all over it, but it keeps me warm and that’s why I purchased it. I have found it too warm on more moderate days, but it’s my go to on the coldest days. Finally, I got the red color and really like it; bright but not garish.

Love this coat. Its warm and comfy. Love the pockets because I have a toddler that's always handing me crap so I now have a bunch of pockets for storing. I also love the hood. Great buy.

A genuinely all down and feather coat. Light as air and tremendously warm and comfortable. It has huge accessible zipped pockets, very flattering hood and elegant lining.This is the real thing!

I was on the fence about ordering the Orolay thickened down jacket with confusing positive and negative reviews about sizing and quality issues. I really wanted this coat because I absolutely love lots of pockets. The size chart that is provided is confusing so I hoped that the coat would fit big and ordered the XS (if it was snug I read reviews that side zippers could give some more room). I am 5'4" and 110 pounds and I was worried that with a larger size I would be swallowed up in the fabric of the coat. I am an Amazon Prime member and the coat arrived within a day packaged nicely in a thick zipper bag. The coat had all the official Orolay tags and labels showing down filling. I ordered the navy coat and it is beautiful with bright orange lining and a soft fluffy lined hood. The fit is just like that shown in the photos. I see no major issues with the zippers like others have written about. Some of them are a bit "stiff" on the pockets but that is so minor. I bought a Canada Goose Expedition coat for close to $1,000 and the zipper on it was total junk. It was always stuck and I had to climb out of the coat. The same with a Cavin Klein coat. For the price of the Orolay coat, the quality and style elements are great. I live in Canada on the prairies where winter gets extremely cold (temps can dip to -35). I chose this coat for the fall and spring and the Orolay coat will be perfect for that; for winter months I will still need my North Face arctic parka. Today it was -3C (26 F) and I was very warm in this coat. In warmer climates maybe the Orolay coat is all that one would need. This is an Amazon purchase that I was glad that I made.

I ordered a 4xl on Wednesday, I got it Friday, it was waaay to large so repackaged and returned it Friday. At the same time I ordered a 1xL I got it today Monday. The delivery is insanely quick.But now about the jacket...I am actually looking forward to it being a cold day because this jacket is like wearing a sleeping bag. It's sooo warm and thick. I absolutely love it, the quality is amazing, the hood on it is big enough to wrap your whole head and not be flimsy. And it has gorgeous fluffy filling around it. I am so happy I got the right size now. I'm usually a 16 so an XL was perfect for me.It has pockets at the front and the zips on the side if you want extra room.I believe this jacket is sooo worth the money.
