I had considered buying a new cartridge or stylus but with this simple swap the sound quality is restored. I am extremely happy that I decided not to go through the hassle of changing out the cartridge. If you have an Ortofon and this (or one of the similar styli will fit) it's a super quick-and-easy swap.

this was an exact replacement for the stylus the came on my Pro-ject turntable. works just like the original. sounds good on my Debut lll.

This stylus is a little stronger than some of your pricier needles and sounds pretty good. All stylus' are too expensive and I wanted a good sounding needle on records that haven't been cared for.
