High quality and consistent. First use was on an ancient Plymouth cast iron bellhousing- had to bore the registry to adapt an A833 OD bearing retainer apx .500 x/y and .070 z. That's a fair amount of material... the insert still looks very much as new after completion, so I'm pretty happy. Proper fit into the boring bar as well. Will buy more of this brand. Good mid/low price bargain for sure.

So far so good. I use these mainly on a hardinge lathe as well as a 1998 HAAS lathe. They work quite well through plastics, aluminum, and mild steels.

The quality looks good (fit and finish). I would have given them 5 stars but I haven’t had a chance to use them yet. I will see over time if the inserts are readily available.Vendor shipped quickly!

Boring bars work great. Each bar came with its own insert and the triangular inserts have a total of 3 usable edges. Really good value

These boring bars seem to vibration really bad. I have spent days playing with speeds and feeds to still have to much vibration. Larger in diameter boring bars are going to be a better choice.
