The molding on my screen door frame popped. The nails were exposed but were bent so removal appeared impossible. I bought this for the metal cutting blade. It made short work of the damaged nails, cutting them off flush with the wooden molding. I can't speak regarding its other functions. But it is a household tool I would recommend everyone have for those occasions when it may be needed. There is nothing else that match its utility and versatility. Other more expensive oscillating tools might have better longevity if you plan to use it often, but I can't speak to that. I expect to have a use for mine not more often than every two or three years. This was perfect for me.

it worked on my kitchen & Foyer floor tile project. this was the best tool that helped in lots of curves & molding & stuff.

The product itself worked GREAT until the sanding head separated from the metal attachment. Ok... I just glued it back on again but I would have expected it to last longer before having to fix it.
